Taking it easy

   Today there is a new challenge at Crafty Cardmarkers the theme of which is masculine.
   I have used a Lili of the Valley stamp called Take it easy and coloured it using Promarkers. Rather than cut it out in the usual rectangular shape I decided to use a triangular shape to add to the matting and layering. I then added a sentiment.

Dinosaur

   This month's Dragonfly Dreams challenge is being sponsored by

and has the theme  of 'for a man or boy'.

   I have used the digi called Tilly Dinosaur and after cutting it out using a pearl square Tattered Lace die coloured it using Promarkers. I used a smaller version of the same die again colouring the edges using a Promarker pen for the base of my sentiment which was cut from green card using a Tattered Lace die. The patterned card was matted onto the same coloured card and then onto white.

Hammock days

   This month's theme for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is 'for teens'.
   This digi from The Paper Shelter called Hammock days reminds me of my step daughters when they were teenagers and basking in the sun without a care in the world.
   After colouring it using Promarkers I matted it onto green card. The design paper was printed using a CD ROM (I cannot remember the name) onto shimmering paper and was also matted onto green card before matting it onto white. I coloured the peel off sentiment using a permanent marker and I added a bow made using two pieces of satin ribbon.

Castle in the sky

   Friday means a new anything goes themed QKR Stampede challenge.
   I have used the digi called Castle in the sky and after colouring it using Promarkers matted it onto an oval piece of dark purple card. The design paper was printed using the My Craft Studio CD ROM All grown up; one of the CDs in From a Man's Point of View set. I Matted and layered this onto mirri and white card. The letters were cut using dies from Tattered Lace's chantilly upper and lower case alphabets.

A letter for you

   The challenge this time at Crafting From the Heart is just for fun so I have chosen to use an image from The House Mouse triple CD ROM which I decoupaged and matted and layered onto paper printed using the same CD ROM, lavender card and then white. I used an envelope punch to make the mini envelopes and used silver peel offs for the sentiment.

Genie and the lamp

   Today sees the start of another challenge at QKR Stampede. As always the theme is anything goes.
   I have used two of their digis for this card - genie lamp and genie - colouring them using Promarkers. The sentiment was computer generated. After cutting out I used Distress Ink around the edges and then matted and layered it onto yellow and then white card.

Eightieth birthday

   The Crafty Cardmakers challenge this fortnight has a birthday theme and I made this card for a lady who enjoys gardening and is celebrating a milestone birthday.
   I have decoupaged an image taken from Hunkydory's Little Book of Milestone Birthdays and matted and layered it onto gold mirri, peach and then white card.
