Autumn flowers

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is explosion of colour.
   I immediately thought of the explosion of colour that autumn brings both in the changing colour of leaves and the daisies that come into bloom and therefore used a David Wolverson flower decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen. I matted and layered it and three different card onto white card and added a bow made using three strips of ribbon recycled from garments.

Joy

   For this week's challenge at QKR Stampede I have used the digi called Joy.  After colouring it using Promarkers I cut out the centre of the holly wreath. In the aperture formed I attached a nativity silhouette, cut using a Cottage Cutz die, matted onto rainbow mirri. I then matted and layered the design onto black, then white card. Finally I added two little sheep which were in the waste from the nativity silhouette.

A pair of dolphins

   This week's challenge at Crafting From the Heart is just for fun. As usual the theme is anything goes.
   I have used the DRS Designs digi called Splash the dolphin. I added a second dolphin by removing the water splashed and then flipping the design and rotating it. The water and dolphins were coloured using Promarkers and I used Distress ink to form the sky. I then matted and layered it onto mirri and white card and added a sentiment cut from mirri using a Tattered Lace die.

Patches 'lil nap

   This image from Digi Stamps 4 Joy called Patches 'lil' nap was coloured using promarkers. I then matted and layered it onto black, brown and white card and added a peel off sentiment.

Penguin pals

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids is fall or holiday wishes along with anything goes.
   I matted paper printed using a Debbi Moore CD ROM onto red mirri and wrapped ribbon round it horizontally and vertically before matting onto white card. The Lili of the Valley stamped image called penguin pals was coloured using Promarkers and also matted onto red mirri. In all cases the corners were rounded using a punch. Finally I addd a bow.

In the manger

   Friday and time for another challenge at QKR Stampede.
   I have used the digi called in the manger and coloured it using Promarkers. I then dusted the edges using Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Eureka Stamps. I matted and layered it onto paper from a very old magazine, brown card and white card. I added three sheep cut using a die from a Tattered Lace nativity set.

Moon fairy

   This fortnight the theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge is fairies or other mythical creatures.
   I matted paper printed using the My Craft Studio CD OM called Mystical Wonders onto black mirri and white card. I cut the moon from yellow card using Tattered Lace's moonbeam die and backed it onto yellow shimmer paper. The fairy was cut from Tattered Lace's paper pad using their die faerie wishes and backing the wings onto shimmer paper. The star and sentiment were stamped using stamps from Crafter's Companion Party Paws Baby Bamboo set.

   A new QKR Stampede challenge begins today.
   I have used the Eureka Stamps digi called holly wreath along with the sentiment called 'have a wonderful'. After colouring the image using Promarkers I added Flower Soft to the holly leaves and then matted and layered the design onto green mirri and white card.

An autumn day

   I have used their digi called Rory - an autumn day and coloured it using Promarkers. I then matted it onto black card. The background designer paper was printed using Peerless Designs CD ROM called Woodland Treasures and I matted it onto white card. The leaves at the base of the design were cut using a die from Tattered Lace's winter foliage set and I added black peel off words to them.

Violinist

   I have used the Polka Doodles digi called gviolin and coloured it using Promarkers. The sentiment was computer generated. I then matted and layered it onto purple pearlescent card and white card. The musical notes were cut from black card using a Tattered Lace die.

Sleigh and reindeer

      Friday means a new challenge at QKR Stampede,
    I have used their digi called sleigh and reindeer, going over it with a black Promarker pen. I cut out the stars and moon and coloured the background using Distress inks. I then matted it onto gold pearlescent card, adding Stickles behind the cut out stars, and then white card. The buildings were cut using the Tattered Lace die winter town and coloured using Promarkers. I removed some of the windows and mounted the buildings onto yellow card to give the illusion of light. After attaching these to the card I added Flower Soft to the roof tops.

Poppies

   This fortnight the challenge At Crafty Cardmakers has the theme of lace or ribbon.
   I opted to use ribbon. I matted the poppy paper onto green card and wrapped a ribbon vertically around it, afterwhich I matted it onto white card. The digi image from Beccy's Place is called poppies and was coloured using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Spellbinders curved rectangle. Using the same die I cut a piece from darker green card and offset this behind the image. Finally I added a bow.

Halloween

   This is a  card I made as a guest designer for the Whoopsi Daisy challenge that begins today.
I have used the Lili of the Valley Halloween stamp. I began by masking the image and colouring the sky using various Distress inks and then finished the colouring using Promarkers. The design was then matted and layered onto green and then purple card.
