Water, water, everywhere
Here is a very watery card! Paper printed from La Pashe's 'Something for Everyone' CD ROM was matted onto blue core'dinations cardstock and then onto the white card.
Pale aqua core'dinations card stock was embossed using the 'waterfall' folder by Corture Creations, sanded, glittered and matted onto the blue core'dinations cardstock and then attached to the card. Three card candi were fixed at the bottom of the strip.
The Mulberry Wood image ' Gone fishing' is by Crafter's Companion, one of my favourite brands. It was coloured using Promarkers and then distress ink was used to add further colour. I then matted it onto blue mirri card before attaching it to the card with glue gel (the best thing I have found that will stick to glitter).

Happy Anniversary
It is my stepdaughter's 13th wedding anniversary on the 1st October, so I have made them this card.
I embossed cream whitewash core'dinations cardstock using the 'Bradshaw' folder from Couture Creations. After distressing the edges with scattered straw distress ink I matted it onto yellow core'dinations cardstock. Using a Spellbinders grand scalloped oval die I cut another piece of yellow core'dinations cardstock and placed it off centre on the matted layers and then wrapped yellow ribbon round it. The whole was then matted onto the cream card. The letters HAPPY ANNIVERSARY were coloured and fixed to the ribbon.
The digi stamp from Whoopsi Daisy was coloured using Promarkers, cut out with the grand Spellbinders die and the edges inked with scattered straw distress ink. This was then fixed to the card so that the yellow die cut oval formed a sort of shadow.

Flower doodle
This week the challenge at Creative Corner is
'The great outdoors' and what better way is there to enjoy the outdoors than by being in the
garden.
I began this card by embossing brown core'dinations
cardstock using the Darice folder 'flower' and sanding it. I then wrapped some
yellow ribbon round the base of it. This was then matted and layered onto
orange then yellow core'dinations cardstock and then white card. I made a
flower out of the yellow ribbon and a button to which some Stickles was added
and this I fixed to the lower right hand side of the card with glue gel.
The digi print 'flowerdoodle1' is from Scribbles
Designs who are sponsoring this challenge. I coloured it using Promarkers,
matted it onto yellow core'dinations cardstock and attached it to the card
using foam pads. Stickles was added to the flower centres.
Finally a die cut 'Happy Birthday' was glue gelled to
the upper left hand corner of the card.
I would like to enter this card into some other
challenges:

Snowball fun
Another Christmas card done!
I used the Darice folder 'snowflake background' to emboss white core'dinations cardstock and then matted it onto brown core'dinations cardstock before fixing it to the white base card.
I then wrapped Christmas fabric ribbon round plain white card and also layered this onto brown core'dinations cardstock before attaching it to the card. Three clear gems were added to the bottom of this.
The image is from the stamp 'Let it snow' by Flower Soft. This I coloured using Promarkers before adding glitter to the snowballs and snow. Again I matted it onto the brown core'dinations cardstock. This was attached to the card with foam pads.

Plum and cherry jam
The plum and cherry image from a Joanna Sheen Country Kitchen stamp was coloured using Promarkers and the edges were then inked with dusty concord distress ink. Green ribbon was tied round the base of this and card candi fixed in the top corners. Foam tape was then attached to the base and the two sides and this was then adhered to the card to form a pocket.
The recipe card, from the same set of stamps as the main image, was also coloured using Promarkers and edged with distress ink. A loop of green ribbon was adhered to the back and then it was backed onto plain white card to present a tidy finish. This was then slid into the pocket formed on the main card.
Finally peel off wishes were added.

Poppies
For this card I cut away a 1.25 inch strip from the the front of a 5 inch by 7 inch card and then matted juniper coloured card to the inside and front. Patterned paper from a paper bag was matted onto the front piece.
The poppy seed head image from an Exclusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) stamp was coloured using Promarkers and matted onto pale green card. Faux stitching was done using a Sakura souffle pen around the edge and then it was fixed to the right hand side of the inside card. Plain white card was also matted onto a piece of green card and fixed to the left of this so that a personal greeting could be added.
A poppy image, also from Exclusive images, was created in the same way as the seed head image and fixed centrally to the front of the card. Butterflies were stamped, coloured and glittered and then fixed to the card with glue gel along with swirls and a sentiment.

Stars and stripes
My daughter's 18th birthday is on Saturday and she loves dragons, so I have made this card for her.
The stamp used here is from Elusive Images, now called Chocolate Baroque. It was coloured using Promarkers, cut out using a Spellbinders label ten die and then distress ink dusty concord applied to the edges. Periwinkle glitter was used on the dragons wings, pistachio glitter on its back and head and crystal glitter for the fire '18' from his nostrils. I then layered the image onto purple patterned paper.
Green stripped paper and pearlescent purple were matted and layered onto white card. A strip of purple starred paper was also matted onto the pearlescent purple before adhering to the card. Glitter was added to the centre of the stars. The prepared image was then added.
Square gems were added top and bottom together with a sentiment.

Have a mice birthday
I am thrilled to be a guest designer over at Crafting With Dragonflies. This time their challenge is to use 5 or more scraps of designed paper.
I was reminded of when I used scraps of material left over from dressmaking to make patchwork dolls quilts and table runners. Using this idea I die cut diamond shapes in three different papers and arranged them in the 'tumbling blocks' pattern used in patchwork. Another paper was used to boarder the 'quilt' and a fifth paper used for the corner squares of the quilt. This fifth paper was also used to back the main image and the sentiment. All the papers used were from Raspberry Road Designs.
The stamped image is from Joanna Sheen's Happy Days House Mouse collection and was coloured using Promarkers. Card candi were adhered to three of the corners and a bow to the fourth.
The sentiment was from Joanna Sheen's spring collection of House Mouse designs.
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Frosty
The image for this Christmas card is from Crafter's Companion Popcorn the Bear collection. Having coloured it using Promarkers I cut around the image, added frostings to the hats and glitter to the shadows on the snowman.
I then embossed white card using the Darice snowflake background folder from Crafter's Companion.and applied glitter to the snowflakes on this. A ribbon was tied round the left hand side before attaching it to the base card. The cut out image was then fixed to the card with glue gel having shaped it a little.

Autumn leaves
No backing paper on this card, just several stamped images combined together. These are from the Autumn collection and the Happy Days collection of Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Design rubber stamps and were coloured using Promarkers. The distressed background was formed by applying distress inks in the following order: rusty hinge, spiced marmalade, scattered straw and finally fired brick. I then mounted it onto a dark maroony brown mirri card and wrapped ribbon round each corner, a bow being attached to one of these. A butterfly stamped from one of the above sets was placed so that the branch was not suspended in mid air! Finally a happy Birthday sentiment was added.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The backing paper was made from a sentiment from the Crafter's Companion Hobbies CD ROM which was put into a graphics program and tiled. This was wrapped round the card. A Crafter's Companion stamp 'Shoppe' from their Frou Frou range was used for the image and was coloured using Promarkers. I then cut it out using a Spellbinders labels 10 die and once adhered to the card I used flexi peel offs to outline the shape.
Red ribbon was tied round the left hand side of the card and a bow and three square gems added to it. A further three gems were glued to the top right hand corner and a sentiment backed onto black mirri card was added to the bottom right hand corner.

CD Album
Many of the free CDs that came in magazines have been put to use in the garden as an edging to my flower beds, but I still have some left. I have always wanted to make a little album/book using my Beatrix Potter stamps so I thought I would see if I could punch a hole in a CD. Well you can! I used an ordinary hole puncher (for paper) although I would not recommend it as I had to use a hammer and screwdriver to unjam the punch each time.
I punched a hole in six CDs and covered both sides of each with papers printed from Crafter's Companion 'Tale of Peter Rabbit' CD ROM.
Each image is from Crafter's Companion 'Tale of Peter Rabbit' rubber stamp collection and has been coloured using Promarkers.
The edges have been distressed using distress inks and then mounted onto mirri card.
The words were just type in a word processor and printed off before being treated in a similar manner.
The 'Peter Rabbit' title was done using word art and then the shape cut out using two Spellbinders circle dies.
All the CDs were tied together using ribbon.
This used all the image stamps in the collection but there are more on the CD so a longer story could be don.e.

Another Christmas card done!
Paper from Wild Rose Studio 'Xmas Bella' paper pack was matted onto silver mirri card. Christmas fabric ribbon was wrapped round navy mirri card and attached to the background paper. Lace was then wrapped round the whole of this before attaching all to the white base card.
The image from the Lili of the Valley stamp called 'Festive Post' was coloured using Promarkers and mounted onto silver mirri card. Glitter was added for the snow and ice and flowersoft to the girl's coat. This was then fixed to the card using foam pads.
Finally a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment was added to the bottom of the card and snowflakes to the corner of the image.

Engagement
One of my niece's has just become engaged so I have made this card for her.
Pink patterned paper was layered onto the white base card and a strip of green patterned paper was stuck down the left hand side of this. Wide heart patterned ribbon was wrapped round white card and fixed to the bottom of the card. I then wrapped 1cm wide red ribbon round another piece of card and fixed this with foam pads to the left hand side of the card.
The house mouse bearing the sentiment 'be mine' is from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Design collection 'Love' and is coloured using Promarkers. Another stamp from the same collection was used for the main image. This again was coloured using Promarkers. Once cut out the edges were dusted with tattered rose distress ink. I then mounted the image onto red mirri card before fixing it to the card. A heart gemstone was glued to one corner and glitter was added to the rose's petals.

Smile
Later this month is my youngest grandson's first birthday, so although I have used pink I think the addition of grey means I can get away with it for a boy! Anyway, it's one of my favourite colour combinations.
For this card salmon pink card was embossed using a Beatrix Potter folder from Crafter's Companion and layered onto grey card. Pink and grey ribbons were wrapped round the left hand side of this before attaching to the white base card. A grey bow was added and pink card candi were glued to the top and bottom of the card.
Pale pink card was embossed using a Darice 'sayings' folder, again from Crafter's Companion, matted onto grey card and fixed to the card with foam pads.
The image is from a Wild Rose Studio stamp called 'Bella with mum', which I think is appropriate for a one year old! This I coloured with Promarkers. Having cut it out I pierced around the edges before layering it onto grey card and attaching to the card.
Finally glitter was added to the 's' of 'smile'.

Away in a manger
I thought it time to do some more Christmas cards. For this current batch, of which the above is one, I used papers from my mountain of stash. The two strips of 'snowball' paper were backed onto blue mirri card before fixing to the main card.
The image used here is from Wild Rose Studio and is called 'Nativity Play'. I coloured it using Promarkers and backed it onto more of the blue mirri card before attaching it to the card with foam pads.
Silver peel offs were added to a blue mirri card die cut snowflake to form the sentiment.

Sun bathing
Here is a card using another paper and decoupage from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse triple CD ROM collection.
The flower petal paper and pink core'dination cardstock were matted and layered onto the white card base. Another piece of the pink core'dinations cardstock was embossed using Sheena Douglass' daisy folder. Ribbon was wrapped round this and then it was matted onto darker pink coredinations cardstock and fixed to the left hand side of the card. A double bow was added to the top and a sentiment to the bottom of this strip.
The decoupaged image was layered onto pink core'dination cardstock and attached to the card. To finish quilled flowers were glued to the bottom right hand corner of the card.
This card is being entered into Joanna Sheen's pretty in pink challenge and Cute Card Thursday pretty in pink challenge.
Ice cream birthday
This card was made by using papers and images from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse triple CD ROM.
The 'happy birthday' paper and yellow core'dinations cardstock were matted and layered onto the white base card. A strip of yellow paper was also layered onto the yellow core'dinations cardstock. This had yellow ribbon pleated onto it near the top before it was attached to the left hand side of the card.
The decoupaged image was layered onto the yellow core'dinations card stock and fixed to the card. Two square sentiments were fixed to the corners of the image.
Finally three card candi were coloured with Promarkers and attached to the lower right hand corner of the card.

This birthday card is for a niece who is a teacher.
The background paper, printed from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse triple CD ROM collection, was layered onto pale green card. Green ribbon was wrapped round it before before fixing it to the cream base card. A bow and square gems were then added to the ribbon wrap.
The image, printed from the same CD ROM, was mattered and layered onto pale and dark green card before fixing to the card with foam pads.
Ovals were cut from the pale and dark green card and layered. A peel off was coloured and added along with two more gems. This was then attached to the lower half of the card with foam pads.

Birthday Fairy
All the papers used for this card are from Wild Rose Studio's Annabelle's Meadow paper pack, the base paper being cut in half so that I could 'stretch' it to a 5" by 7" card. (The paper packs are 6" by 6")
The Lili of the Valley image called birthday fairy was coloured using Promarkers and cut out using a floral oval Spellbinders die. I then added glitter to the wings and pom poms and ultra fine flowersoft to the teddy. The edge was then coloured with a metallic gold marker and then embellished with dots of gold liquid pearls.
Two corner peel offs were stuck to triangles of the blue paper and used to embellish corners of the card. Three card candis were also added as embelishments. Finally a sentiment was added to the bottom of the fairy image.
