Fun in the rain

 

   This month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of cute autumn or Halloween cards. I have chosen the autumn theme and decoupaged an image from Hunkydory's Little Book of Autumn.

The theme for August's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is a nice easy one of anything goes.

I have used pieces from a Hunkydory kit along with a rosette made from a die cut.

Bauble

 

   The July challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the theme of Christmas in July.

    It seems very strange making a Christmas card when an extreme heat warning is in effect! 

    The background paper, with computer generated "Happy Christmas", was printed from Tattered Lace's Festive Pines CD Rom and matted onto pale blue card. I used a Tattered Lace die called Glisten in the Snow, removed the centre of the bauble and then coloured the diecut using Promarkers, adding red Liquid Pearls to the holly berries. The centre of the bauble was replaced with gold mirri card and to this I attached the small decoupaged image from a Morehead's Christmas pack.

Summer fun

  

    This month's theme for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is summer fun cards.

    This card was made using several stamps from Hunkydory's Acorn Wood collection and Brush Markers. The design was matted and layered onto blue and white cards and then framed with pink card.

    This month's challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the theme of planes, trains and automobile cards. I have used an old design from LOTV, layering it onto shades of green card and plaid design paper and adding silver card candi.

Flowers for mum

 

   The theme for this month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is flower cards for mum.

I could imagine a small child thinking that it would make the flowers look better if happy faces were painted on them, so I just had to choose to do this decoupage House Mouse design for my card.
