Fairy wishes
I superimposed the fairy image, called spread your wings, from Scrapper's Delight onto paper from My Craft Studio's A very important date CD ROM before printing it out and then coloured the fairy using a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. I then matted it onto black card. The starry papers used for the background were from Papermania and I also matted these onto black card. The stamped sentiments were made using Flower Soft Floral Sentiments Set 1 stamps, cut out using Tattered Lace dies and matted onto black card again cut out using Tattered Lace dies.

Poppies
The challenge starting today at Crafty Cardmakers invites you to use punches and/or dies. I have used dies and a CD ROM from Tattered Lace called Charisma Poppy.
I wrapped three rows of narrow sparkly ribbon round paper printed using the CD ROM and then matted and layered this onto black and then white card. After making up the poppy decoupage, having used the CD ROM and dies, I attached it to an oval cut from white card using a Tattered Lace die. This I matted onto an oval cut from black card fixing it at a slight and then attached it to the card. I glued a small red bow at the base of the poppies. The sentiment was made in a similar way using two smaller dies and peel offs.

Another challenge starts today at Eureka Stamps and the theme for it is love is in the air or Valentines.
I used digi number 18505 (lovesick leopard) and coloured it using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Tattered Lace heart die and inked the edges using distress ink before matting it onto a heart cut from black card. I then attached this to design paper from Papermania which had been matted and layered onto black card and then white card.
The sentiment is digi number 23601(525) (one in a millennium) matted onto black card.

Late birthday card
There is another challenge for you over at Eureka Stamps with the theme 'pile it on'.
I began by matting and layering paper printed using a Docraft CD ROM onto green designer paper, grey-green core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I coloured digi image number 11902 (running turtle) using Promarkers and fussy cut it out. Before attaching it to the card using glue gel I went round the edges using a black pen. Using a punch I made several mini envelopes and sealed them each with mini heart. One of these I fixed under the turtle.
I matted and layered the sentiment, digi number 15105(508), (Birthday came) onto green designer paper and core'dinations cardstock and attached it to the card using foam pads. I then arranged three of the mini envelopes around this.

Birthday fun
Send A Smile 4 Kids has a new challenge starting today with the theme birthday fun. It is being sponsored by two generous sponsors:
All Dressed Up Stamps (2 digis)
and
Bugaboo (7 digis ).
My card uses a digi image from All Dressed Up Stamps called birthday monkey. I think the image is such a fun one and therefore decided to keep the card simple so as not to detract from it. I coloured it using Promarkers and added a Trimits wobble eye to the birds eye. I then simply matted and layered it onto two different coloured squares of core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Peacock
This week the challenge at Creative Corner has feathers for the theme, so I chose this peacock swirl die from Tattered Lace. I cut it out from white card, coloured it using Promarkers, applied dry glitter to the tail and wing and then matted it onto paper printed using the Artylicious Peacock Summer Party CD ROM from Elusive Images (now known as Chocolate Baroque) and cut it out.
I wrapped turquoise ribbon round white core'dinations cardstock and matted and layered it onto turquoise mirri and white card. I then attached the peacock so that it stood on the ribbon. In the top left hand corner I attached a bow along with a small feather and in the opposite corner a peel off sentiment. Finally I added six small gems to the peacocks head feathers.

Study in grey
This was a digi image which was offered over on the Kit and Clowder facebook page and is called Alyce and Lila Bear. They say owners become like their pets so I decided to go for a grey theme.
I coloured it using Promarkers and after cutting it out using a Tattered Lace oval die matted it onto silver mirri card. I then attached it to black card which I had matted onto silver card. I then outlined the white oval using black flexible peel offs.
The sentiment was cut from core'dinations cardstock using a Tattered Lace die and the bow was off an old Christmas card!

New baby
A new challenge begins today at Crafty Cardmakers and More with the theme new. As I said in my previous post, I have three nieces each expecting a baby next month so naturally I chose to make a 'new baby' card!
I matted and layered paper from an old magazine onto core'dinations cardstock and white card. The Tatty Twinkles stamp called baby bouncer was coloured using Promarkers and placed behind a square of core'dinations cardstock which I had cut out using the Westminster Tattered Lace die. I then attached it to the card and coloured the metalwork of the pram using a silver gel pen. The sentiment was created from the same set of stamps and matted onto core'dinations cardstock cut using a Spellbinders die. I then coloured a flower from Wild Orchid using Promarkers and attached it behind the sentiment.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Welcome little one
Another Monday, so another new challenge begins at Eureka Stamps. For this challenge you need to use something new.
I have three nieces who are each expecting a baby next month so I have made a card to welcome one of the new ones. I began by placing digi image number 27302 (If God takes the time) into the centre of digi number 27301 (snow background) before printing it. I then masked out the sentiment and around the edges of the image before dusting the background using distress ink. The image was then matted and layered onto core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I used my new Tattered Lace die baby boy boot and cut out two boots which I then matted onto white card, cut out and attached to the card using glue gel.
Using small peel off letters I created the sentiment 'welcome little one' in the centre of a circle cut from core'dinations cardstock. Using the same cardstock I cut a snowflake using a Tattered Lace die and mounted the circle in the centre of this. I then attached it to the card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

For my card I have used their digi image Pretty girl 2.
I attached two narrow strips of green designer paper from Pink Paislee onto a square of pink paper from the same pack. I then matted and layered this onto green card and then white card.
I coloured the image using Promarkers, cut it out, shaped it slightly and attached it to the card. Using the Tattered Lace die Summer rose I cut two pieces from white card. For the bottom layer of my embellishment I left all the little die cuts in the design, but removed them for the top layer. I coloured both pieces using Promarkers and then layered them and attached them to the card. Finally I added a peel off sentiment.

Goodbye
I love this little teddy image from Dragons Lair Designs which I coloured using Promarkers and thought it would go well with designer papers I had from The English Paper Company called All Aboard. The sentiment is full of meaning for me also since I have just taken my two children back to university.
I matted and layered two different papers from the the pack onto blue core'dinations cardstock and white card. I then attached the image and sentiment both of which were matted onto gold card onto this.

Birthday spots
After all the Christmas card making I must make some more birthday cards. I matted white core'dinations cardstock embossed with dots onto black card and then wrapped a wide spotty ribbon round this combination before matting it onto white card.
The digi image from Kenny K is called Happy hour. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a long classic rectangle Spellbinders die. I then matted it onto black card cut using a Spellbinders long classic scalloped rectangle die and attached it to the card at an angle.
The sentiment was in my stash and I coloured the edges using a black Promarker pen before fixing it to the card.

Birthday celebration
The first challenge of the new year is starting today over at Eureka Stamps and the theme is birthday cards.
I have used digi numbers 11601 (cupcake wreath) and 18905 (birthday celebration) on my card. I used Promarkers to colour the ribbon, cakes and candles. The flames I coloured using neon gel pens and I used silver and gold gel pens for the confetti and ribbon edge.
I then matted the image onto ivory deckle edged card and outlined the edges using gold wavy peel off strips.

and
Die-Versions ($15 gift certificate).
I have used a digi image from Doodle Pantry called Caterpillar hug. (A mushroom and one caterpillar) I copied the image twice, isolated the caterpillar on one of the images, reversed it and then combined it with the first image. The sentiment is also from Doodle Pantry and I stretched this so that it extended over both caterpillars.
I coloured the image using Promarkers and dusted the edges using distress inks. I then matted it onto red card and outlined it with green peel off strips.

Thinking of you
It's 2016 and I wish you all a very happy new year (with lots of crafting!)
A new challenge starts today at Creative Corner with the easy theme of anything goes. I have used Tattered Lace's charisma poppy CD ROM and die. Using the CD ROM I printed the background paper and wrapped narrow black ribbon round it. I then matted and layered it onto black and then white card. Using Spellbinders circle dies a cut a black and a white circle matting the black one onto the larger white one. I then attached this to the card. I used the CD ROM and dies to create the decoupaged poppy which I then fixed onto the black circle. Finally I added a black bow and a black peel off sentiment.
