Loving message
For this challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and More we would like to see stripes.
I matted and layered some striped paper I had in my stash onto pink paper and white card. Another piece of striped paper was also matted onto the pink paper and then attached horizontally to the card. My images are from the Tatty Twinkles stamp set called 'Message' and I coloured them all using Promarkers. I cut out the main image leaving a narrow margin of white around it because I thought this would make it stand out from the background a little more. I shaped it slightly before attaching it to the card using glue gel. The butterfly was also fixed to the card using glue gel. I palced the sentiment message just behind the envelope.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Birthday daisies
Another week and another challenge at Eureka Stamps. The challenge this week is to make a birthday card. I have used digis 9201 (Daisy bouquet) and 15003 (Have a sunshine day) to make a feminine birthday card.
I coloured the image using Promarkers, cut it out using a Spellbinders scalloped oval die, brushed the edges with distress ink and then matted onto card which I had cut out by hand having drawn round the die. The sentiment was dealt with in the same way, although I did not brush the edges of this. I then added some glitter to the flowers.
The background paper is from Papermania and was shaped by drawing around the edge of the scalloped white card onto which I matted it.

Punches and/or dies
It's the third Saturday in the month and another challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids. The theme for this challenge is 'punches and/or dies' and there are three very generous sponsors:-
Flat Friends Boutique (6 digis), The Paper Shelter (3 digis) and Sassy Studios (4 digis).
For my first card I used Bathtime from The Paper Shelter. After colouring it using Promarkers I matted it onto black card. I had some paper which I had printed off a few years ago in my stash and I used this for the background of the card. The flying birds were cut from Core'dinations cardstock using a Tattered Lace die. I also used tattered Lace dies to cut the sentiment from black card.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
ABC - D is for die cuts
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
Inspiration Destination - anything goes
Addicted to Stamps and More - make your mark
Fantastic Tuesday - anything goes with the twist use a die
A Gem of a Challenge - children's playtime
My second card uses the digi beach time from Flat Friends Boutique and is again coloured using Promarkers. I decided to use different textures in this card. I have used Papermania paper for the sky, shimmering paper for the sea ( this was cut using a Spellbinders long classic rectangle die and layered) and core'dinations cardstock for the sand. The latter was torn to create the water's edge and sanded. The sun was cut using a circular die from gold mirri card. I layered all the pieces together and then cut them as a whole into a rectangular shape which I then matted and layered onto black and then white card. Finally I added some transfer letters to form a wavy 'Have Fun'. The coloured image was shaped slightly and attached using glue gel.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - add a little texture
Simon Says Stamp Monday - a piece of paradise
Clear It Out - theme is holiday & stash is gold or yellow things (sun and beach)

Ice Skaters
Today we begin a new challenge at Creative Corner, the theme of which is 'Winter fun'.
I matted some pink designer paper I had lying around in my stash onto grey card and wrapped two rows of navy organza ribbon round it. I then matted this onto white card. I coloured the image, skating friends, from Lili of the Valley using Promarkers and matted it onto navy core'dinations cardstock which I had previously sprayed with sparkle. After attaching it to the card I attached a bow and words which I had cut out using Tattered Lace dies.
I wish to enter this into the following challenges:

Birds of a feather
The theme for this week's challenge at Eureka Stamps is 'Birds of a feather'. I have used digi numbers 28506 (Bunch of chicks) and 14507 (From all of us) to create my card.
I coloured the image using Promarkers and cut it out using a Spellbinders label 10 die. Keeping it in the die I rub distress ink around the edges. I then drew round the die on yellow card, cut it out and matted the coloured image onto it. I applied flower soft to one of the chicks and added a card beak to it.
I scored and folded cream card to form an easel card and matted and layered pale yellow card and paper from Papermania onto the base of the easel. I cut out the sentiment, distressed the edges using distress ink, matted it onto yellow card and attached it to the card using foam pads to form the easel stop.
I coloured two lengths of organza ribbon using Promarkers, wrapped them round the lower half of the easel and tied them together, afterwhich I attached the image. Finally I tied four pieces of ribbon together and attached these to the corner edge of the easel stop.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Senior love
The challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and More this time has the theme love. I thought what better than the love between two of the older generation and made this anniversary card.
The image called 'Flirty Seniors' is from Make it Crafty. I stamped it onto watercolour card but coloured it using Promarkers. It wasn't so easy to blend the inks as on the usual card that I use but it seemed to work as long as I was careful at the edges of each section. I then matted it onto black core'dinations cardstock, wrapped ribbon round two corners and then matted onto cream card. The words were cut from deep red core'dinatios cardstock using tattered Lace dies.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Without Words - Je t'aime

All is love
The theme for this week's Eureka Stamps challenge is 'All is Love'. I have used digis 18302 (Heart bouquet which I coloured using Promarkers) and 28505 (I bring this basket).
I matted red card onto pink and wrapped pink organza and narrow satin ribbons round the bottom, after which I matted it onto white card. I also matted the image and the verse onto pink card before attaching them to the card. I then added a bow made from the two different ribbons.

Squigglefly (3 digis), Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet ($10 gift certificate) and Fred She Said ($10 gift certificate).
For this first card I used the image 'Pirate captain' from Squigglefly. I coloured it using Promarkers and lightly dusted the edges with distress ink before matting it onto black core'dinations cardstock. The backing paper printed from a CD ROM sometime ago and laying around in my box of stash was also matted and layered onto black core'dinations cardstock and white card. After attaching the image to this I glued card candi onto the corners. Finally I fixed the best wishes sentiment cut from core'dinations cardstock using Tattered Lace dies onto the card.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Again I have coloured the image using Promarkers and distressed the edges with distress ink. I chose black with white spots card candi as the nearest I had to football colours.

Getting ready
The theme for the Creative Corner challenge this week is pink and purple.
I have chosen to use a Lili of the Valley stamp called 'getting ready'. I coloured it using Promarkers but added silver gel pen round the edge of the mirror and to the legs of the stool.
I used the Die'sire die 'Christmas presents' from Crafter's Companion to cut out and emboss a 145 cm square of purple core'dinations cardstock and then distressed it. I placed this over the same size square of pink core'dinations cardstock and drew around the inside aperture and cut a slightly larger aperture from the pink. I then glued the coloured image behind the pink cardstock and glued the purple cardstock on top of the pink. The whole was then matted onto white card which was slightly bigger. To finish the card I added some pink and purple gems.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

We have the start of another challenge at Eureka Stamps. The theme this week is pink and red. I have used digi number 3601 (flower basket) and coloured it using Spectrum Noir pens.
I matted designer paper from Kaiser Craft which I had in my stash onto red core'dinations cardstock. The coloured image I matted onto red mirri card and rounded the corners using a punch. The greeting was also cut from red mirri card using a die from Tattered Lace's Christmas sentiment set. Finally I attached a flower from Wild Orchid.
