The July challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the theme of Christmas in July.
It seems very strange making a Christmas card when an extreme heat warning is in effect!
The background paper, with computer generated "Happy Christmas", was printed from Tattered Lace's Festive Pines CD Rom and matted onto pale blue card. I used a Tattered Lace die called Glisten in the Snow, removed the centre of the bauble and then coloured the diecut using Promarkers, adding red Liquid Pearls to the holly berries. The centre of the bauble was replaced with gold mirri card and to this I attached the small decoupaged image from a Morehead's Christmas pack.
Hi, Mary! I was hoping this challenge would help cool us off a bit... but no luck here. What a clever marriage of all those supplies. Great job! BTW I took a page out of your book and cut out the top Santa on my card to add a bit of dimension. Not as fancy as your decoupaged cards but a step in the right direction.
