This fortnight the challenge At Crafty Cardmakers has the theme of lace or ribbon.
I opted to use ribbon. I matted the poppy paper onto green card and wrapped a ribbon vertically around it, afterwhich I matted it onto white card. The digi image from Beccy's Place is called poppies and was coloured using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Spellbinders curved rectangle. Using the same die I cut a piece from darker green card and offset this behind the image. Finally I added a bow.

ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous Mary, I LOVE the colour scheme. The red of the ribbon and the poppy flowers is beautifully vibrant and contrasts perfectly with the green card stock. The background paper is just fabulous. Love it all!
