Sweet peas
This fortnight the theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge is to use at least two dies or punches or one of each.
I used the Tattered Lace sensational sweet pea die and the accompanying paper pack to cut the flowers and glued a square of dark mauve card behind the central frame, attaching a die cut sentiment to it. After using a ball tool on the reverse to shape the flowers I matted it onto acetate taken from the lid of an old box of Christmas cards. I then matted and layered this onto pale green card, pale mauve card and white card. Using a die from Tattered Lace's peony pavilion accents I cut out butterflies and attached these to the card on strips of acetate so that they moved a little.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Dream Valley - all things bright and beautiful
Incy Wincy Designs - flowers
Crafty Sentiments Designs - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks - anything goes with summer is here
Jo's Scrap Shack - anything goes
