Guitar boy

The challenge this fortnight at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the theme of anything goes for kids. It is being sponsored by:
Dollar Graphics Depot who are offering a $15 gift certificate
and
Kitchen Sink Stamps who are offering a$25 gift certificate.

Like most crafter's I am reluctant to throw scraps away because 'they may come in useful'. I used some of these scraps to create the background to my image (The wonders of using a set square!) and then outlined the edges with black peel off strips. The central image is from the Dollar Graphics Depot set called band kids. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Spellbinders oval die and matted it onto red core'dinations cardstock which had been cut out using a Spellbinders scalloped oval die. The musical notation was cut from black card and the original card was cut using the musical notes dies from Tattered Lace. Finally I finished the card with a peel off birthday sentiment.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Oh La La Creations - for a man or boy
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
   Passion for Promarkers - sports/hobbies
Crafty Sentiments Designs - anything goes
   Creative Fingers - anything goes
   Inspiration Destination - anything goes

  3. A true crafter always uses up all her scraps, lol. I'm just the same - I have a large box full of snippets which I refuse to throw away but as fast as I use some it refills again. Thanks for joining in our challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week.
