Catching eggs

   Friday can only mean a new challenge at QKR Stampede. This week I have chosen to make an Easter card and to use up a few more scraps in my stash.
   I began by matting and layering some left over printed 'grass' paper from my stash onto black and then white card. I found a scrap of Easter egg design paper from on old magazine so matted this onto black card and attached it as a strip. The digi bunny is called catching Easter eggs and after colouring him I fussy cut him and attached him to the egg 'path'. From the remaining scrap I cut an egg to place in his hand and a partial egg to put in the basket. Finally using a Tattered Lace die I cut the sentiment from black and from yellow card and glued them to the Easter card.

Floral birthday

   The theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge beginning today is 'for that special someone'. I have made this birthday card for my sister.
   I matted and layered the spring flower paper onto pale orange and white card. The decoupaged flowers were cut using Tattered Lace's spring frame die and attached to white card matted onto pale orange. The sentiment was cut using another Tattered Lace die.

Easter bunnies

   Thought I had better make some Easter cards. This one uses a digi from Scrapper's Delight called eggtraspecial. i coloured it using Promarkers and then placed it behind an shaped oval aperture so that she appear to be stepping out of it. I then matted and layered it onto darker green card and white. I attached some leaves flourishes, easter eggs cut from scraps of paper, a bunny and a sentiment all cut using various Tattered Lace dies.

   It's Friday so time for another QKR Stampede challenge.

   Using a Tattered Lace die I cut curtains from a scrap of paper in my stash and coloured the curtain poles using a gel pen. I matted the night sky paper printed using the My Craft Studio CD ROM 'From A Man's Point of View - All Grown Up' and matted this behind windows I had cut using a Tattered Lace die.After highlighting parts of the window using Promarker pens I matted the curtains on top and then attached it to pale orange card wich had been matted onto white card.
   The bedtime bear digi was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and attached in front of the curtained window. From darker orange card I cut the sentiment using a Tattered Lace die.

Best mum

   Today sees the start of a new 'just for fun' challenge at Crafting From the Heart.
   I used the hibiscus wreath die from Tattered Lace to cut out the flowers which I then shaped before attaching to white card. This was then matted onto dark pink card and then layered onto printed design paper which had been matted and layered onto dark pink then white card.
   The sentiment was cut from dark pink card using Tattered Lace's alphabet dies and finnally pink gems were added.

New home

   I began by matting and layering paper printed using the Paws For Thought Volume 2 CD ROM onto black and then white card. he image called cottage was coloured using Promarkers and then also matted onto black card. The computer generated sentiment was cut out using a Tattered Lace charisma frames 2 die and again matted onto black card to which I added two gems.

Indulgence

   Searching through my stash I came across this House Mouse decoupage sheet. After making it up I ran a black pen around the edge before attaching it to variegated  coloured card. I then wrapped black satin ribbon round this and matted it onto black card. A bow was then added to the ribbon strip and four black card candi to each corner of the image. Finally I added the sentiment which again was matted onto black card.
