Birthday girl

   Another weekly  anything goes challenge at QKR Stampede begins today.
   I have used the digi birthday girl, colouring it using Promarkers and matting it onto layers that match the colour of the balloons and adding a sentiment on a die cut label.

Lilies for you

   This digi called Lilies for you is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy. I coloured it using Promarkers and used a die from Tattered Lace's A moment of calm die set to create a frame for it. I then outlined it using gold edged pink peel off strips. The top and bottom borders are made from washi tape and I used further Tattered Lace dies to cut the panel and letters for the sentiment.

Banjo picking

   There is a new QKR Stampede anything goes challenge today.
   I cut silver mirri using Tattered Lace's moroccan trellis die and attached it to a forest design printed using a My Craft Studio CD ROM and then matted and layered it onto blue then white card. The image, called banjo picking, was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and shaped slightly before attaching it to the central mirri window using glue gel.

Marigolds

   I coloured this image from Twinkle Lane Designs using Promarker and Chameleon pens and matted and layered it onto various coloured card each cut using a Tattered Lace pin dot circle die. These were then matted and layered onto a square of black then white card. I enmbellised the card with pearl flourishes and a die cut bow.

Card sharks

   This fortnight the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of humorous or slime. The theme came about because one of the challenge's regular players interchanged a couple of letters when promoting the challenge and instead of writing smile wrote slime.
   I find the House Mouse images humorous so I chose to use this one called 'card sharks' which is a favourite of mine. It was coloured using Promarkers and cut out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die. I then matted it onto black card. The design paper was printed using La Pashe's CD ROM called 'The Wrinklies' and this was matted and layered onto black then white card. I added a strip of black card across the middle and attached some pearls to it.

Astronaut

   Another Friday means another QKR Stampede challenge the theme of which is as usual - anything goes.
   I have used the astronaut digi and coloured it using Promarkers. I matted and layered it onto silver mirri, black card, cloud mirri and finally white card. The cloud design mirri, although it appears dark in the photo, is in fact paler than the coloured image. I cut a black circle and an oval of mirri to make the 'planet' on which to put the peel off sentiment.

Warming up

   This image from QKR Stampede called warming up made me chuckle so I had to use it sometime for my DT design for their challenge. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a pearl rectangle tattered Lace die. It is matted and layered onto paper printed using a House Mouse Design CD ROM and blue card. Before matting it onto white card I wrapped ribbon round the layers  adding a bow and a peel off sentiment to it.
