The night before Christmas
The challenge staring today at Crafty Cardmakers and More has the theme 'Twas the night before Christmas.
I began by matting paper from Wild Rose Studio's 'A Robin's Christmas' paper pack onto red card. The image was stamped using one of the stamps from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Christmas set of stamps called walnut cradles. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a Tattered Lace decorative circle die, after which I dusted the background using distress inks. I then matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock which was also cut out using a decorative circle die. The sentiments were from a Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Designs Christmas eve decoupage sheet.

Tag card
The theme for this week's challenge at Eureka Stamps is Christmas tags.
Using digi number 17103 (Three candles) I printed a large image and a smaller image and coloured both using Promarkers. The larger of the two I made into a large tag using narrow silver ribbon for the tie and attached this to a cream card. (This was the same colour as the tag to which I attached the smaller image.) I then outlined the tag with gold peel off and attached a gold peel off greeting to the bottom of the tag.

The background to the card is paper printed from the Peerless Designs CD ROM Woodland Treasures. I matted this onto black card and then wrapped a black satin ribbon round the lower half before matting the whole onto white card. I then added a black bow and gold peel off wishes to finish the card.

Crackerbox Palace (3 digis)

and
Sassy Studios (4 digis).
For this card I began by wrapping two rows of yellow narrow sparkly ribbon and one of red around navy core'dinations cardstock which I had sprayed with iridescent sparkle. I then matted this onto red card. The digi image is from Crackerbox Palace and is called Santa with sleigh. I coloured it using Promarkers and distress inks and then matted it onto yellow core'dinations cardstock. I then matted and layered it onto grey core'dinations cardstock and white card. I finished the card by attaching a grey card candi to each of the corners of the card.

Winter birthday
At Crafty Cardmakers and More a new challenge begins today the theme of which is winter birthdays.
I wanted my image to appear through a doorway. I began by cutting an aperture in orange core'dinations cardstock using a Spellbinders arched windows one die. I then embossed the central panel using a Darice brick wall embossing folder. I rubbed over the bricks with distress ink and then used a white pencil to enhance the 'mortar'.
I coloured the Lacy Sunshine image called Emily - winter wonderland using Promarkers and then matted it behind the aperture. I then matted the whole onto white card.
The ivy was created using Tattered Lace's Charisma Ivy CD ROM and die. and was adhered to the card using glue gel. The lettering was cut using a mini Tattered Lace die and then separated before gluing individually around the arch.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
