Blue jays

   Friday here again and another new challenge at QKR Stampede with the usual theme of anything goes.
    I have used the digi called blue jays and coloured it using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Tattered LAce pearl rectangle die and whilst it was still in the die dusted the edges using Distress Ink. I then matted and layered it onto blue card and silver mirri and added a bow.

Shop till you drop

   This is my card for the guest designer spot for this weeks Through The Craft Room Door challenge.
   I used Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat stamp called Autumn and after colouring it using Promarkers cut it out using a Tattered Lace notched diamond die. I then ran a Promarker pen round the edge.
   The background paper was created using the Crafter's Companion CD ROM Hobbies and I matted and layered it onto pink card followed by white. Finally I coloured four card candi using a very old inkpad and attached them at the four corners of the diamond.

Sunflower bouquet

   The Crafty Cardmakers challenge for the next fortnight would like you to add some texture.
   In my stash I came across this flower decoupage which I had made several years ago and done nothing with so I decided it was about time I made use of it.
   I matted hand made paper onto lilac card and then white card. The decoupaged image I matted onto brown core'dinations cardsock and also used this cardstock for the die cut sentiment. Using card candi which I coloured using Promarkers and trimming some of them I added a flower to the right hand bottom corner. I then added Stickles to all the flower centres.

Precious things

   Friday again and another QKR Stampede challenge begins with an anything goes theme.
   I have made a card using Tattered Lace's square 3D concertina corner kit die set to which I added the digi sentiment 'precious things' from QKR Stampede. The heart embellishment below the sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace mini die and I addded a double bow made from two strips of satin ribbon.

   I used the digi called garden silhouette and cut it out using a pentagonal die. This was then matted onto black and then white card and then attached to a pentagonal easel card which I had formed from black card. I matted white card onto the easel base and used a sentiment matted onto black card for the easel stop.

Sneaking out

   There is a fresh challenge over at QKR Stampede today with the usual theme of anything goes.

   This image, coloured using Promarkers, is called 'sneaking'. I fussy cut it and then mounted it onto white card which I then fussy cut again and attached it to the folded back front of the card so that half of the image was free floating. 

   This image called 'sneaking away' was positioned on the inside of the card so that it lay hidden behind the fount image.

   The background papers were matted and layered onto silver mirri and then white card. Silver peel offs were used for the sentiment and three gems were added to the folded back card front.

Dashing through the snow

   The first challenge of the year at Crafty Cardmakers has the theme of winter fun.

   I have chosen to use an image from Joanna Sheen's winter collection of House Mouse stamps and after colouring it using Promarkers I matted it onto silver mirri and added glitter to the snow.

   The top triangle of background is core'dinations cardstock which I embossed and then coloured using distress ink. The lower triangle is a piece of designer paper that I had in my stash. I then covered the join with blue ribbon.

   Finally I finished the card with a little stamped mouse which was again coloured using Promarkers and then fussy cut.
