Birthday boy

   It's Friday again so that means a new QKR stampede challenge the theme of which is anything goes.
   I matted paper from Doodle Pantry's farmer birdie digi set onto white card and then added the birthday candle paper from my stash which I had matted onto black card. The digi image is called little boy and after colouring it using Promarkers I fussy cut it leaving a narrow white margin. I then matted it onto black card and fussy cut again leaving a narrow black margin so that the image would stand out from the background. The sentiment was cut from black card using various Tattered lace dies.

Dinosaur

   This card was made for a boy who is mad about dinosaurs. I printed the decoupaged image using Robert Adams' CD ROM 'Dinosaurs and much more'. I matted the base of the decoupage onto black and then white card and outlined it with thin strips of green peel off. I also used peel offs for the writing at the base of the card.

   I have used their digi called Stella 29 again! After colouring it using Promarkers I matted and layered it onto red then white card. I added Glossy Accents to the glasses lens and Stickles to the spots and stars in the background.

Thank you Popcorn

    The theme for the new challenge stating today at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the twist option of thank you cards so I have made use of another Popcorn the bear stamp. This one is from the Thanks a bunch set. I coloured it using Promarkers and after running a Distress Ink pad round the edges I wrapped satin ribbon round the left hand side. I then matted it onto white card, added a bow and a thank you greeting cut from core'dinations card using dies from Tattered Lace's wedding words set.

New home

   Another QKR Stampede challenge begins today with the usual theme of anything goes.
   This card uses the QKR Stampede digi called birdhouse. I coloured it using Promarkers and after cutting it out using a Tattered Lace notched square die matted it onto black card which I offset on to paper printed using Card Creations Plus CD ROM Brush Strokes in the Wild which I matted and layered onto black and white card. The birds were cut from black card using dies from Tattered Lace's hidden valley's over the peaks embellishment set. The sentiment was created using peel offs.

Birthday elephant

   This elephant image which I coloured using Promarkers is from Dragon Lairs Design. I matted and layered it onto pink, blue and white card leaving enough space between the pink and blue layered tp add a strip of black peel off. The sentiment was cut from black card using the ornamental happy birthday die from tattered Lace.

New baby

   A few days ago I made a card for a baby boy, so to keep the balance here is a card for a baby girl.
   The stamp used for this card is from Lili of the Valley and is called cosy pram. I coloured it using Promarkers and after matting it onto pink card attached lace around the edge. I then matted it onto card from Hunkydory which in turn had been matted onto more of the pink card and white card. The two little embellishments were printed using Tattered Lace's Charisma bunny CD ROM and then fussy cut. The sentiment was cut from pink card and offset onto the sentiment cut from white card using a die from Tattered Lace's wedding words set.
