Louise bling

   The theme of the first 2018 Crafty Cardmakers challenge is blings the thing.
   I have used a Scruffy Little Cat stamp from the Louise set and coloured the majority of it using Spectrum Noir pens. I also made use of an old makeup set I have and used blusher on the cheeks, eye shadow on the eyelids and lipstick on the lips and lipstick. I added clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to the lipstick holder, bottle top and puff, gems to the centre of all the flowers and used Liquid Pearls for the spots on the bottle and the beads.
   I then matted and layered the design onto glitter card, mirri and white card. Using a Tattered Lace die I cut the sentiment from glitter card.

Baby bear

   Here is my card for the QKR Stampede challenge beginning today. This year every challenge has the theme of anything goes. I have used their digi called baby bear and coloured it using Promarkers. I wrapped ribbon round the lower right hand corner, attached three card candi to it and then matted and layered it onto mirri, paper printed using a My Craft Studio CD ROM, another layer of mirri and finally white card. I then added a peel off sentiment.

   The first challenge of 2018 at Crafting From the Heart is being sponsored by

   I have used their digi called the dress and after colouring it using Promarkers and fussy cutting it matted and layered it onto pearlescent card and then white card. I framed it with white card cut using the meadow sweet Tattered Lace die adding Liquid Pearls to the flower centres. I then added peel off stars to the background and peel off sentiments.

Happy baking

   This image coloured using Promarkers was printed using the Daisy and Friends CD ROM, a disc which I bought several years ago. I matted and layered it onto biscuit coloured card, red core'dinations cardstock and white card. The embellishments were cut from white card using dies from Tattered Lace's Her Apron set, coloured using Promarkers and slightly shaped before attaching them to the card using glue gel. The sentiment is a black peel off.

Tennis anyone?

   Dragonfly Dreams are starting the new year with an anything goes challenge and it is being sponsored by 

   My nephew, who is a keen tennis player, celebrated his twenty first birthday at the beginning of the month so I used several sheets of an image from Hunkydory's Little Book of Sports and Games to make a decoupaged card for him. I matted and layered the picture onto paper from Hunkydory and white card, outlined  it using gold peel off strips and added gold peel off numbers and sentiment.

Popcorn romance

   For the first challenge of 2018 at Send A Smile 4 Kids the theme is anything goes for kids along with Valentine for kids.
   I have dug out my Popcorn the Bear stamps and intend to give them a fresh airing. This is the first of these and is from the romance set. I coloured it using Promarkers and then wrapped satin ribbon round two opposite corners before matting and layering it onto light brown card, dark brown core'dinations cardstock and white card. I stamped the sentiment onto light brown card, cut each word out and matted them onto a strip of dark brown core'dinations cardstock.

25th Anniversary

   The first challenge of 2018 for QKR Stampede has the theme of anything goes. I have used a  Eureka Stamp digi called 25th Anniversary.
   I used  a silver gel pen round the edge of the 25 and filled the inside using icicle Stickles and silver Liquid Pearls to colour the daisy like flowers with white opal Liquid Pearls for the centres. The ferns were coloured using frosted lace Stickles and the remaining part of the design then coloured using Promarkers.
   I matted and layered the design onto pink card, silver rainbow mirri and white card and then added the two embellishments made using leaves die cut from silver rainbow mirri and flowers cut and coloured using Liquid Pearls.
