Summer fun

  

    This month's theme for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is summer fun cards.

    This card was made using several stamps from Hunkydory's Acorn Wood collection and Brush Markers. The design was matted and layered onto blue and white cards and then framed with pink card.

    This month's challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids has the theme of planes, trains and automobile cards. I have used an old design from LOTV, layering it onto shades of green card and plaid design paper and adding silver card candi.

Flowers for mum

 

   The theme for this month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is flower cards for mum.

I could imagine a small child thinking that it would make the flowers look better if happy faces were painted on them, so I just had to choose to do this decoupage House Mouse design for my card.

   For the February challenge Send A Smile 4 Kids would like to see your birthday cards for kids.

I have used a Happysaurus  Duo die from Tattered Lace cutting it out several times from different  coloured card and snipping bits off to build a multi-coloured dinosaur. The background was printed using a computer.

   Wishing everyone a happy 2026! The Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge starts the new year with the theme of sport themed cards for kids.

   I have used a printed image and design paper from one of the old bumper packs from Lili of the Valley together with ribbon and craft card. The sentiment was computer generated.

   December's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme "I love you SNOW much".

 I have used a twisted heart shape decoupage of a snowman and various die cut snowflakes for my card and I look forward to seeing your entries to the challenge.

   I have used Tattered Lace dies to cut Christmas flowers and foliage and attached them to textured card which I had matted onto red designer paper from my stash.

    The Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge this month has a theme choice of either cute fall or Halloween. I have chosen to go with the autumn theme and decoupaged this forest scene from Hunkydory's Little Book of Autumn.

   This month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of summer fun.
   I have used Doodle Pantry's Honey Bear Birdie set for my card. I matted the design paper onto white card and then edged it using black peel off strips. After colouring the image using Promarkers I cut it out using a Spellbinders square die and ran a black pen around the edges. I then matted it onto a piece of black card which I had cut using a Spellbinders scalloped square die placing it at an angle. Using a Tattered Lace beautiful bee die I cut a bee which I coloured using Promarkers and attached it to the top right hand corner of the card. Finally I added glitter to the wings of the die cut bee and to those in the main image.

Origami dinosaur

 

   This month the theme for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is fun folds. I decided to use origami for my fun folds and made a dinosaur following online instructions! The background is a download from Carnation Crafts practically prehistoric set with a computer generated sentiment added.

My favourite friends

 

   The first Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge of 2025 has the theme 'make new friends but keep the old' and they would like you to use a stamp.

   I have used an old Lili of the Valley stamp which is new to me called 'my favourite friends' and coloured it using ProMarkers. The sentiment is computer generated. I have used paper strip off cuts to form a frame to the design before mounting it onto the card.

Christmas teddies

   The theme for this month's Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is winter cards.

   I found some old 3D decoupage sheets from Craft Creations and these Christmas teddies were among them.  The sentiment on the blue card was printed using a font on my computer.
