Roses with love

    This fortnight the Aud Sentiments challenge has the theme of sending love + a sentiment and it is being sponsored by Fred She Said.

   I have used digis from their hearts and roses set. The smaller image is just a truncated version of the larger. I coloured them using alcohol pens and added Glossy Accents to one of the rose petals for a dew drop. After matting and layering onto dark pink coordinations cardstock  and white card I added three card candi.

   The flowers for this card were made using dies and downloadable vignettes from Carnation Crafts Blithe set from the Summer Daze collection whilst the sentiment was cut using dies from Tattered Lace's Christmas sentiment set. The frame to which they are attached were cut using another of their die sets called Charisma frames 1.

Peeping cat

    Been playing around with some die cuts made using Carnation Crafts dies and downloadable vignettes. Printing on different paper gave the difference in colours between the foreground foxgloves and the one behind the cat.

Hello squirrel

    I am delighted to have been asked to be a guest designer for Penny's Paper-Crafty challenge this fortnight. One of the sponsor's for the challenge is All Dressed Up and I have used their image called 'Hello squirrel'

    I coloured the image using Promarkers. The surrounding frame and die cut corners were cut using dies from Carnation Crafts wreath card set. I also used dies from their Just to say bouquet collection to cut the flower embellishments some of which were coloured using Promarkers and others making use of their downloadable vignettes. The sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace die.

Little fireman

    A fairly simple card for one of my great nephews. The card base and the mats and layers were cut using Tattered Lace notched square dies. The sentiment was cut from the same card stock, alternating the colours using their alphabet dies.

   The image coloured using Promarkers is from The Paper Shelter and is called adorable fireman.

   The first Dragonfly Dreams challenge of 2021 is being sponsored by

    I have used their digi image called Li'l Ellie's Donuts - Li'l Bellyfulls. After colouring it using Promarkers I fussy cut it and matted it onto pink card which I fussy cut again. I wrapped grey ribbon round pink doily patterned paper from my stash and matted this onto deeper pink card. I then added a bow and five white pearls to the ribbon strip.

Valentine mice

 

   The Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge begins the year with a Valentine or love theme.

   I have used a digi from Di's Digi Stamps called valentine mice and coloured it using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die. I wrapped pink ribbon around deep pink card and then matted this onto pale pink card. I then added a bow.
