Blue bird wishes

   For this fortnight the theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge is things with wings.

   Using dies from Tattered Lace's Daisy Hill Picture Decoupage die set I created a square frame which I attached to light purple patterned card. The bird and its nest die along with the downloadable vignette is from Carnations Craft Full of Love set and the tree peony is from their Beneath the Cherry Tree set. The sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace die.

End of summer

   Another card made using dies and downloadable vignettes from Carnation Crafts Garden safari collection. I have added a gold peel off sentiment to the band on the hat - just the right size!

Heather

   The frame on this card was cut using Tattered Lace's ornamental antique lace rectangle die from pale pink card. I cut away the centre of the rectangle and matted it onto white card cut using the same die. This combination was then attached to a darker pink rectangular card matted onto white card.
   The bouquet is made up of heather cut using the die from Carnation Crafts precious flowers collection and the accompanying downloadable vignette. I added a bow to it and finished the card with a peel off sentiment which I coloured using a permanent pen.

Tea time

   The digi image on this card from The Paper Shelter is called It's tea time. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a Spellbinders label 8 die, but before removing it from the die I dusted the edges using Distress Ink. The top layer of the mats and layers is Core'dinations Cardstock and I sanded this before matting it onto the red and cream card pieces.
   The ivy, also coloured using Promarkers, was cut using a Creations Craft die from their Safari Garden set and I added letters to the leaves to spell out Tea Time.

Bear's christening

   Lots of layers is the theme for the current Crafty Cardmarkers challenge.
   I have used four pages from Hunkydory's Little Book of Special Days to decoupage this christening image. I then matted and layered it onto gold mirri and purple card. Before matting it onto cream card I added a ribbon and bow to the top left hand corner.

Foxglove and eucalyptus

   

    I cut oval apertures from two shades of pink card and matted and layered the frames onto white card. Using stripes of gold edged pink peel offs I edged the aperture. I positioned the decoupaged foxglove and eucalyptus leaves within the aperture and added some coloured pearls and a bow made from pieces of pink and white ribbon. The sentiment was cut from mirri card using a Tattered Lace die. (The florals had been cut using dies and vignettes from Carnation Craft From the Heart set.

Flower pots

   During the last few months many of us have been doing quite a bit of gardening. Using mainly dies and the accompanying vignettes from Carnation Crafts Garden Safari collection I have made this card for a friend. The sentiment was cut using a Tattered Lace die.

Forget-me-knot

   I have used their digi called forget-me-knot, coloured it using Promarkers and roughly cut it out. I then attached it to pale blue card matted and layered onto pale green card then white. I added three blue pearls and a sentiment cut using a Tattered Lace die to complete it

   This month the theme for The Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has a thank you theme.
   I printed the backing paper using Hunkydory's @ home USB number 4 and attached a vertical strip of gold ribbon to it before matting and layering it onto red then white card. the poppy is decoupaged using several pages from Hunkydory's Little Book of Autumn and I added black Flower Soft to the poppy centre. The letters were cut using Tattered Laces chantilly alphabet dies.
