Boy in window

   Friday and the start of another anything goes themed challenge at QKR Stampede.

   Looking through my stash I found some unused spinner cards. I thought the square spinner would be ideal for the two images I have used on this card. When closed you have the view of the 'boy in window' image.

   When open the spinner twists and you have the view of the 'boy with balloons'.

   Both images were coloured using Promarkers and matted onto black card, as was the design paper which was from my stash. The happy birthday was cut from black card using Tattered Lace dies and the surprise! was made from peel off letters coloured using a permanent pen.

Watching the world

   For this card I have used a digi of a shop front from Digi Stamps 4 Joy and drawn the beginnings of a second shop following on from it. I coloured it using Promarkers and added paper from a DCWV paper stack for the paving in front of the shops. I then matted and layered it onto black and then whit card.
   The lady was cut using the Tattered Lace die 'watching the world go by' and again I coloured it using Promarkers. The sentiment was cut from white card and then from black using a tattered Lace die.

Kingfisher

   The challenge this fortnight over at Crafty Cardmakers has the theme of things with wings.
   One of my favourite birds is the kingfisher so I have decoupaged an image using pages from Hunkydory's square little book of birdsong.

   I then matted and layered it onto silver mirri, orange card and blue card. This was then attached to a twisted easel card which I made from white card adding the blue and orange card to the base of it.

Wedding of mini fans

   This week it is a just for fun challenge at Crafting From the Heart.
   I was asked if I would make a wedding card for a couple who were mini fans so I combined two clip art outlines using the My Craft Studio graphic package and positioned them inside a heart adding a computer generated sentiment. I them coloured them using Promarkers. The backing paper was printed using My Craft Studio CD ROM called Celebrations and I matted it onto silver mirri. I outlined the heart using silver peel off strips and the entwined initials cut from rainbow mirri using Double Do dies.

Hollyhocks

   The Crafting With Dragonflies challenge is celebrating it's 5th birthday. This is a card that I have designed for them using a hollyhock digi image from Digi Stamps 4 Joy. I coloured it using Promarkers and matted it onto card cut using a Tattered Lace die. The designer paper (which looks blueish here is in fact pale pink) was also created using the digi and after matting it onto pink card I wrapped organza ribbon round it twice before matting it onto white card. I then added a triple bow, pearls and a peel off sentiment to the card.

Breaktime

   It's Friday and time for another anything goes challenge at QKR Stampede.
   I began by matting pale blue paper onto black then white card. I coloured the image called breaktime using Promarkers, fussy cut it and attached it to a background formed by sky paper from a magazine and grass paper printed using Card Creations Plus CD ROM called Garden Sheds. (These pieces had been cut using an oval die and matted onto black oval card.) I also cut the sentiments using an oval die and matted them onto black card. Finally I added some card candi.

Message in a bottle

   Another anything goes themed challenge begins at QKR Stampede today.
   Using the wish in a bottle digi image I printed it repeatedly onto a blue background to form my design paper. This I then matted and layered onto blue and then white card.
   I coloured the larger version of the image usung Promarkers and cut it out using a Tattered Lace scroll die and added colour to this using Promarkers. The sentiment was made from peel off letters which I coloured using a permanent pen.

Beetle car

   I drew the car on the cobble stones and after colouring it using Promakers matted it onto black card. The dog was stamped using a stamp from Jayne Nestorenko's In the Garden set, coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and attached to the design.
   The computer generated sentiment was also matted onto black card. Both this and the design were matted and layered onto red, black and then white card. Finally I added some red pearls of varying sizes.

   I matted red card onto black card and white card. On the left hand side I attached paper printed using La Pashe's CD ROM 'Something for everyone'. The right hand side of the red card I edged with a peel off strip. The image called biker chic was coloured using Promarkers and the edges dusted using Distress ink.

Bathing turtle

I have used the digi called bathing turtle and after colouring it using Promarkers matted and layered it onto blue card, card embossed using the bubbles folder from Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat set and coloured using distress ink, another layer of blue card and finally white card. The sentiment was cut from blue card using a Tattered Lace alphabet die set.
