I asked for strength

   It's time for another challenge at QKR Stampede. As usual the theme is anything goes.
I cut the frame from silver mirri using a Hunkydory fabulous trellis frame die and matted and layered it onto black card and then pale pink card. The digi is from Eureka Stamps and after cutting it out I dusted the background using various Distress Inks.

Giraffe mistletoe

   A Christmas card with a difference for those who get married or engaged around this time. My sister was one of those. This one uses a digi from Digi Stamps 4 Joy called giraffe mistletoe. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a heart shaped die and matted it onto gold mirri. The background is an animal print card - the nearest I could find to giraffe colours and design and I attached black ribbon and a bow to the lower left hand corner.

Trees

   There is a fresh challenge at QKR Stampede today with the theme of anything goes.
   I have taken a break from making Christmas cards And used the digi called trees, matting it onto balck card.
   The background was created by using a Darice embossing folder on white core'dinations cardstock which I then coloured using Distress Inks.  After attaching ribbon to the left hand side I matted it onto black card and then added three card candi to the bottom right hand corner.

   Firstly I matted patterned mirri card onto red card. The image called Dasher was coloured using Promarkers and after cutting it out I dusted the edges using green Distress Ink, although this does not show up in the photo, and then matted it onto red card. Three wise men

   Friday and another challenge begins at QKR Stampede with the theme of anything goes.
   I have used the digi from Eureka Stamps called three wise men, colouring it using Promarkers. I matted it onto mirri cut using a Spellbinders die. The background is formed from two waste pieces of card matted onto mirri with a satin ribbon wrapped round to cover the join. I then added some gold peel offs.

Nativity scene

   Rummaging through my stack of dies I found one from Cottage Cutz called Nativity scene, which cuts three separate images, so I decided to make some quick Christmas cards using it. The stable image is glued onto the blue background mat and the other two images are attached using foam pads to give some dimension.

Bed time story

   I have used a House Mouse decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen. After attaching it to red rad I outlined the image using strios of gold peel off and then added more gold peel off items to the left hand side of the card.

Joy

   Today being Friday there is a new challenge at QKR Stampede. The theme as usual is anything goes.
   Adding to my collection of Christmas cards I decided to make a shaped card using Tattered Lace's monumental moments joy die. I cut out the digi called solid manger and star using an oval die and attached it behind the rear 'o'. I glued paper printed using My Craft Studio CD ROM 'Winter hellebore' onto the front 'j' and 'y' and attached gold and red mirri onto the front 'o'. I then decorated the card with decoupaged winter hellebore cut using Tattered Lace dies.

Keyboard kitten

   Today sees the start of a fresh challenge at Crafting From the Heart. This digi from Digi Stamps 4 Joy is called keyboard kitten. Nativity

   A new anything goes themed challenge begins at Dragonfly Dreams today.
   I cut a rectangular aperture in patterned mirri card and framed the opening with cream card cut using a Hunkydory framed with love die. Behind the aperture I attached an image taken from Hunkydory's Third Little Book of Christmas then matted the whole combination onto cream card.
I attached a cream bow and a cream sentiment disc which was matted onto mirri card to finish the card.

   It is the first Saturday of the month so that means that there is a fresh  Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge. The theme is anything goes with the option of a winter card.
   I decoupaged sheets taken from Hunkydory's Little Book of Season's Greetings, matted it onto red card and added loose glitter to the snow. I then attached this to cream card that was matted onto gold card. The 'greetings' sentiment was cut from red card using a Tattered Lace die.

   Friday here again and so there is a new challenge at QKR Stampede, the theme being as usual anything goes.
   I matted paper printed using a House Mouse CD ROM onto red card and attached a ribbon to the lower right hand corner. I then matted this onto green card to create two vertical borders and finally onto white card.
   The digi called Christmas cheer was coloured using Promarkers with the addition of a little loose glitter to the snowman. I cut him out using a circular die and then cut a segment away before matting it onto a green circle. Finally I added some washi tape.

   Christmas is a time when we can say a special thank you to those who have helped us during the year. I have used a traditional decoupage sheet from Craft Creations to make this card. After matting it onto gold card I outlined the image using strips of red peel off and added peel off sentiments.

   This digi from Digi Stamps 4 Joy is called mouse chorallers. I paper pieced the music sheet form which the mouse is singing but the rest is coloured using Promarkers. I fussy cut it and pasted it onto paper from Hunkydory's Twilight Forest background pad and then matted it onto black card.
   I matted blue card onto gold mirri and attached a strip of the carol music design paper down the left hand side.

Snow family

   This week the challenge at Crafting From the Heart is just for fun, there being no sponsor.
   I began by matting mauve card onto white then using several of the same image from Hunkydory's little book of snowmen I decoupaged the snow family. After adding it to the card I framed it with silver mirri cut using a Hunkydory's moonstone die from the stunning snowflakes set.

Snowman and birdy friends

   The challenge over at Send  A Smile 4 Kids has a nice easy theme this time of anything goes.
   I have used a digi from Conie Fong called snowman and birdy friends and coloured it using Promarkers apart from the bauble for which I used a gel pen. I then cut it out using a circular die and added loose glitter to the hats of the birds, the snowman and the snow.
    I used a die from Tattered Lace's krystal die set to cut the silver mirri and mounted it onto dark blue card. This I matted and layered onto light blue then white card. I then attached the coloured digi to the centre.

Best friends

   My card for this weeks challenge at QKR Stampede is making use of paper scraps. Not having enough of either the red or green paper I cut them into squares and attached the pieces to blue card which I matted onto white. The image called best friends was coloured using Promarkers and a little loose glitter was added to the snowman. The image was then matted onto black card and I added a greeting cut from black card using Tattered Lace dies.

    I have used the digi called bear hugs and after colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace ornamental torn edge heart die. I dusted the edges using Distress Ink and then ran a Promarker pen round the edge. It is matted and layered onto paper from a very old magazine, pink card and white card. The sentiment was cut from pink card using Tattered Lace dies.

Autumn flowers

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is explosion of colour.
   I immediately thought of the explosion of colour that autumn brings both in the changing colour of leaves and the daisies that come into bloom and therefore used a David Wolverson flower decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen. I matted and layered it and three different card onto white card and added a bow made using three strips of ribbon recycled from garments.
