Cut it up
The theme for this week's challenge at QKR Stampede is cut it up along with the usual anything goes.
I have used the digi image cattails (number 11602) and coloured it using Promarkers. I used the tattered Lace die birds in flight to cut out the birds above the image and then matted and layered it onto dark brown mirri and cream card. Using another Tattered Lace die I cut the dragonfly from blue mirri. I cut a second body from the dark brown mirri and stuck this on top and glued shimmery paper behind the wings before attaching it to the card.

Mother and baby
The digi image of the elephant is available from Scrapper's Delights if you wish to take part in their facebook progressive challenge. I did them as two different sizes to create a mother and baby elephant and then coloured them using Promarkers. After cutting out I dusted the edges with Distress Ink and then matted it onto teal card and added a card candi to each corner.
The background paper was created using My Craft Studio graphics program and was matted and layered onto teal card and then white card.
The sentiment was computer generated and again matted onto teal card.

This week the theme for the QKR Stampede challenge is anything goes with the twist of embossing of any kind.
I embossed leaf green core'dinations cardstock using the Sheena Douglas folder grassy swirls and rubbed olive green Distress ink over the embossed areas before matting and layering it onto olive green card and white card.
The frog image called relaxing reading (number 24214) was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and attached to the card using glue gel. I cut several leaves from various shades of green card using Tattered Lace's tri dies called Sophie. Some of these I embossed using the accompanying mini embossing folder, to others I attached letters cut using Tattered Lace's alphabet dies to form the sentiment.

Little birds
For the next fortnight the Crafty Cardmakers challenge has a monochrome theme.
From a square of medium shaded yellow card I cut a heart aperture using a Tattered Lace die. From a smaller square of light yellow card I cut a larger heart aperture. I matted both of these onto white card using foam pads and then outlined the larger heart with dots of Liquid Pearls.
I cut a design from dark yellow card using Tattered Lace's little bird die and attached it to the heart shaped aperture. I added Stickles to the centre of some of the flowers and Liquid Pearls dots to the found flowers. Finally I added a yellow peel off sentiment.
