Forest stepper

The digi image of the tree house in the woods is from Dragons lair Designs. I coloured it using Promarkers and then cut round the tops of the bushes and trees and matted it onto some printed sky paper. I then cut this out using a die from tattered Lace's decorative inset stepper set of dies. the stepper card was also cut using this set of dies. I wrapped ribbon round the base before attaching the digi topper and added a bow.
The bunnies were also cut using a Tattered Lace die. I used Fluffy Stuff on their tails and Glossy Accents on the eyes and cut two strips of stamens for the grass. The mushroom was cut using Tattered Lace's forest mushroom die. Both the bunnies and the mushrooms were coloured using Promarkers and backed onto white card which was then fussy cut before attaching to the stepper card.

Using an odd scrap of purple patterned paper I cut out letters using a Tattered Lace die and stuck them onto a strip of core'dinations cardstock. I also used the paper to create the wine in a pair of peel off glasses which I then attached to the strip. This was then matted onto another strip of waste patterned paper before attaching it to the right hands side of the card.

Birthday dragon

Another Friday and another challenge at QKR Stampede. The theme for this one is paper piecing along with the usual anything goes.
I wanted to break away from my usual square or rectangular card so made a stepper card using Tattered Lace's offset side stepper card die set. The printed topper is from Hunkydory's Little book of cakes and bakes and the digi image is dragon (number 12603). I paper pieced his front and coloured the rest of him using Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens. Lion quilt

The theme for the challenge this week at QKR Stampede is quilting/stitching along with the usual anything goes.
I decided to make the design look like a quilt. Using Tattered Lace's Velvet Lace ruffle square die I cut a piece of pink card, cut it into four and glued it together again to make a reduced square. After rubbing the back of the frills using a ball embossing tool I matted a left over piece of design paper that I had printed off some time ago for a previous project onto this. The image called lion (number 14212) was coloured using Spectrum Noir pens. I fussy cut this leaving a margin round it and then added some faux stitching to it before attaching it to the card.
