Netball

A friend asked me to make a card for her grand daughter who plays netball. I have some CD ROMs which contain thousands of clip art images so I superimposed the players over an image of a netball and then using word art added the greeting. After cutting it out using a die I matted it onto gold mirri card and coloured the girls using Promarkers.
Using a circular die I created an easel card and attached the above to it. I printed another clip art image and cut it out using a circular die and attached it to the base of the card. I then outlined it using gold peel off strips. I used two smaller versions of this image either side of the words '15 today' matted onto gold mirri card to create the stop for the easel.

Spring fling

The challenge at Crafty Cardmakers for the next fortnight has the theme floral profusion.
I began my card by embossing a rectangle of Hunkydory's adorable scorable card using the Avery folder from Tattered Lace and matting it onto cream card. The flowers were printed using Tattered Lace's Sweet Serenity Blissful Blooms CD ROM and then cut using the matching dies. The glass bowl was cut from packaging and silver mirri. I arranged the flowers in the bowl and then used wet glue on the lower half of the bowl to attach it to the card so that the top of the flowers are free to move.
The sentiment was cut using another Tattered Lace die.

Happy gardening

There is a new anything goes challenge at Crafting From the Heart today so do come and join in.
My main image used a Tatty Twinkles stamp called gardening makes you happy. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace essential byzantine die and matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock which was also cut out using a byzantine die.
I used Tattered Lace's essentials byzantine lattice die to emboss white card which I then matted and layered onto green core'dinations cardstock and white card.
The flower pots were stamp using a stamp from Jayne Nestorento's Cute Companions In the Garden set and coloured using Promarkers. I cut a slit in two of them and made a stack of three pots. The bird was created using a stamp form the same set. Also from the same set of stamps was the sentiment.

She loves me, she loves me not

I began by covering white card with daisy patterned printed paper I have had in my stash for some time. After decoupaging the House Mouse image I matted and layered it onto pink mulberry paper and gold card and tied a satin ribbon which I had coloured using Promarkers round the lower part of the card. This was then attached to the backing paper.
I used the Tattered Lace chamomile spray die to create the bouquet of flowers, doubling up on the flower heads and adding extra flowers to the spray. Promarkers were used to colour the spray of flowers.
Using a Tattered Lace ornamental with love die I cut the sentiment twice, colouring each cut piece with a different colour so that when one was placed on top of the other a dropped shadow could be formed.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Stars and stripes

The Scrapping 4 Fun challenge which begins today has the theme of ladies and the sponsor is Sheep Ski Designs. I have been lucky enough to have been asked to be a guest designer for this challenge and this card is what I came up with.
The striped paper and the star strip were created using the My Craft Studio graphic program. I wrapped red tape round the striped paper either side of the star strip before attaching it to white card. The window was cut down from a Tattered Lace die cut and I attached acetate from packaging behind the frames. I then attached a clip art picture behind the whole window and attached it to the card. The lady was cut from white card using the Tattered Lace die called Lauren out for a stroll and I coloured it using Promarkers. Finally I attached a computer generated sentiment.
