Wedding card

The theme for Eureka Stamps' challenge this week is 'here comes the bride'. I decided to make the text the main focus of my card and chose to use digi number 19003 (May your wedding). I cut it out using a charisma frames 1 Tattered Lace die and matted it onto silver mirri.
The background of my card is wrapping paper overlaid with a white lattice cut out using the Tattered Lace essentials byzantine lattice die.
As an embellishment I used digi number 55601 (wedding bells). Using a craft knife I cut out sections in the bells. I then coloured the ribbons and the inside of one of the bells using Promarkers and then sprayed it with silver Spray and Sparkle before attaching it to the card.

Poisettias

It's Saturday again (they come round so quickly!) and there is another challenge beginning at Send A Smile 4 Kids. For this one we would like you to use punches and/or diecuts. It is being sponsored by
Dollar Graphics Depot who are offering a $15 gift certificate as  a prize
and
Bugaboo who are offering 7 digis.

My image is one of the Candy Cane Critters from Dollar Graphics Depot. I cut it out using a Spellbinder circle die and matted it onto gold mirri card which had been cut out using a scalloped circle Spellbinders die.
The poinsettia was made from a combination of card and thick paper cut using Tattered Lace dies and assembled on a scalloped circle of gold mirri card. The greeting is also from gold mirri card again cut using a Tattered Lace die.
The background design of poinsettias has been in my stash several years and I forget which CD ROM is used to print it from. This was matted onto gold card.

I then went over the golf clubs with a crystal Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. After matting the image onto black card I attached it to the main card. Cat and mouse

Crafty Cardmakers would like you to make something for a special man for their new challenge.
I have a son-in-law who is very much into computers and electronics and also has two house cats, so I thought this would be the ideal card for him.
The paper and decoupage were all printed using the first  House Mouse Design project book from Joanna Sheen and I matted everything onto black card. I saved two of the heads from the decoupage and added them to other places on the card - the mouse head in the bottom left hand corner and the cat head above the sentiment. I finished the card with three black card candi.

I have used digis Father and Son (number 6104) and It's a special day (number 404(415-175)). I also added a few little stamped fish (well dolphins) to the bottom of the design which was coloured using Promarkers. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to colour the caught fish. Sorry it's late

This pocket watch image is from Scrapper's Delights and I decided to use it to make a card for those birthdays I forget until after the event.
The background made using the digi image and playing with it in a graphics program was matted onto white card. I coloured the pocket watch using Promarkers, fussy cut it out, shaped it slightly and attached it to the background using glue gel. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out using a Spellbinders label 4 die. I matted it onto black card before attaching it to the card.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
ABC - I is for important (It's important to say sorry for a missed event!)
Digi Choosday - add a sentiment
   Scrapper's Delights - anything goes

Early bird!

The theme for the challenge this week at Eureka Stamps is 'things with wings'. I chose to use the images chick with worm (number 5904(190)) and enjoy life (number 22202).
I coloured the chick using Promarkers and then cut round the wing and raised it up. I stuck a piece of card coloured yellow behind the aperture formed. I then stuck on a wobbly eye and covered the chick with yellow flower soft. I used Glossy Accents on the worm.
When dry I wrapped several rows of raffia round the lower edge so that the worm appeared to be pulled from the ground. The various grasses were created using the Tattered Lace small panorama grass die. They were coloured using Promarkers and arranged in rows behind the different layers of raffia.
I then matted the whole design onto dark green hammered card.

I coloured the bird using Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and the flower using Promarkers and then matted and layered it onto two shades of green card.
The design paper was a download from a Papercraft Inspirations magazine which I printed many years ago and I matted and layered this onto silver mirri and white card. I wrapped pink organza ribbon round pink card and attached this to the lower half of the card. I then added a bow, four card candi and a silver peel off sentiment to complete my card.

Using the Tattered Lace ornamental happy birthday die I cut out the sentiment from green card and attached it to the main design. By the sea

The theme for this week's challenge at Creative Corner is 'Just for men' and I imagined them messing about with boats.
I matted and layered paper from The English Paper Company's All Aboard paper pad onto black card and then white. Using off cuts from other papers in the pad I attached three strips across the lower half of the card and added a black peel off sentiment to the centre of the lowest strip.
The main image is from Stamps Away Pilkington Country Scenes set 2 of stamps. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Spellbinders large deckled rectangle die. Before attaching it to the card I outlined the edges using a black Promarker pen.
