Paint the world red
In my stash I have a Forever Friends paper pack called Hugs and Cuddles which I have never used. It is quite a pale design so I thought I would use it on this card and it would not overpower the image. I wrapped two rows of narrow sparkly red ribbon round one side of it and then matted and layered it onto red mirri and white card.
I also have some flowers from Colour Me Crazy so I coloured these using red Promarkers and glued them to the ribbons. I then glued some green card candi to the centre of each flower.
The digi image is from Lacy Sunshine and is called Rory - time to paint the world. I coloured it using Promarkers, fussy cut it out, shaped it slightly and attached it to the card using glue gel.
I then coloured some card red using a Promarker pen and cut out the letters for the sentiment using Tattered Lace dies.

Birthday dinosaur
I don't normally go for a lot of bling but our challenge at Eureka Stamps this week is add bling!
I matted and layered green core'dinations glitter silk card onto purple mirri and then white card. I coloured the birthday dinosaur digi (number 4207) using Promarkers and distressed the edges using distress ink having first rounded the corners using a punch. I then attached this and the same size of purple core'dinations glitter silk card to the card fixing the purple piece at a slight angle. I added more glitter to the candle lights and the dinosaur spots and finally added a happy birthday strip of peel offs to the bottom of the card. I don't think I could get more bling than this, except perhaps glittering the whole dinosaur!!

To the ball
This card is for my sister whose birthday is at the end of the month. I matted some 'musical' paper from my stash onto shiny lilac card and white card. I also matted some lilac mulberry paper onto the same shiny lilac card and fixed this to the lower half of the card and then attached a small rectangle of rose pattened embossed paper on the right hand side of this, glueing a lace ribbon to the corner of this.
The digi image from Lacy Sunshine is called 'Steampunk Cindy to the ball'. I coloured her using Promarkers, cut her out using a Spellbinders long classic rectangle die and while the image was still in the die coloured the background using distress inks. I then matted it onto shiny embossed paper which had been cut out using a long classic scalloped rectangle die and attached it to the left hand side of the card. I glued pearls to the buttons of the dress and the clasp of the waist tie.
I coloured the sentiment using distress ink and attached it to the card using glue gel. Finally I added two butterflies cut from mirri card using a mini Tattered Lace die to the sentiment.

Religious happy birthday
I was asked to make a religious birthday card for someone who loves his flowers and garden. I used a digi image from La Pashe's CD ROM 'The best of just inklined' and coloured it using Spectrum Noir pens. I then matted it onto dark brown mirri card. The background paper was printed from a House Mouse CD ROM from Joanna Sheen. I thought the lilies on the paper were similar to the lilies in the digi stamp. I used peel off letters to create the sentiment and also matted this onto the brown mirri card.

Shoes are a girls best friend!
Our challenge this fortnight at Crafty Cardmakers and More has the theme dots.
I matted and layered some spotty paper I had in my stash onto pink core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I then made a decorative border for the right hand side of the card. I wanted to reverse the colours, having blue spots and a pink background so I cut a strip of pink core' dinations cardstock using a Spellbinders triple scallop die and a classic decorative inserts 6 die and matted it onto some blue core'dinations cardstock. I then wrapped some satin ribbon round the edge of this before attaching it to the card.
The image is from a Tatty Twinkles stamp set called shoes and I coloured it using Promarkers. I then matted it onto pink core'dinations cardstock and attached it to the card. The sentiment is from the same set of stamps and this I matted onto blue core'dinations cardstock.

Butterfly
Today's new challenge at Eureka Stamps has the theme 'buttons and bows' so keeping to the b's I chose to use a butterfly image. This one is number 20801 and is called butterfly and sunflower and I coloured it using Promarkers.
I matted some butterfly printed paper that I had in my stash (I cannot remember which CD I printed it from) onto red mirri card and wrapped a piece of yellow organza ribbon round it before then matting it onto white card. I also matted the image onto red mirri card and atttached it to the card at an angle, then glued a yellow bow to the side of it. I had some nice red buttons so I attached these to keep the colour theme going. Finally I attached a red happy birthday sentiment that I also found in my stash.

Birthday 4 kids
Well it's the third Saturday in the month which means the start of a new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids. The theme this time is 'birthday fun 4 kids' and we are again being sponsored by three generous companies: Bugaboo ( 7 digis ), Lacy Sunshine ( 3 digis ) and Fred She Said ( $10 gift certificate).
For my first card I matted and layered paper from Papermania onto yellow mirri and then white card. I coloured the digi called 'make it snappy birthday girls' from Bugaboo using Promarkers, matted it onto black card and fixed it to the card at an angle.
Like most other papercrafters I have plenty of design paper in my stash, This spotty one was one of my first acquisitions. I matted and layered it onto pink core'dinations cardstock and white card. The digi image is from Lacy Sunshine and is called 'Rory - life's a bag of sunshine'. I coloured her using Promarkers and matted the image onto core'dinations cardstock before attaching it to the card.
The sentiment was cut from pink core'dination cardstock using Tattered Lace dies and each was matted and layered onto green core'dinations cardstock and white card before attaching to the card using foam pads.
I finished the card by glueing three golden sun embellishments to the card. (Well the sunshine in the bag has to come from somewhere!)

A lap full of kittens
We start another challenge today at Creative Corner and this time the theme is for a child.
I matted spotty paper onto orange mirri and white card. I then matted a happy birthday border onto orange mirri before fixing it to the lower half of the card.
The image is 'A lap full of kittens ' from A Day for Daisies and I coloured it using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Spellbinders curved rectangle die and then went round the edges with an orange Promarker pen. Using the same die I cut a grey piece of core'dinations cardstock and stuck this and the image onto the card.
I added glossy accents to the kittens noses and three card candi to the right hand side of the image.

Cool cat!
Another Monday and another challenge at Eureka Stamps. The theme for this new challenge is fourlegged friends. I have used digi numbers 23901 (being cool) and 23902 (cat with shades) and coloured the image using Promarkers and cut the design out as a rectangle. This was then matted onto a blank card and I outlined the rectangle with silver peel offs and added glossy accents to the cats nose. Simple but I thought eye-catching.

Looking Fabulous
Make It Crafty has a design call going on at the moment (until April 12) for a new CAS design team.
They have some lovely stamps, both rubber and digital. For my card today I combined two of their digital stamps - dandelions and Kimberly-hula-hoop - and printed it out on Neenah card.
I coloured Kimberly using Promarkers and used the following colours:
Skin - oatmeal, blush, dusky pink, vanilla
Hair - cocoa, cinnamon, tan
Eyes - china blue
Clothes - china blue, denim blue, powder blue, pastel blue
Shoes - cool greys 4 and 5
Hoop - cardinal red, berry red, poppy
I coloured the dandelions and grass using Spectrum Noir pecils with the following colours:
Grass - 045, 046, 048, 056, 057
Flower heads - 003, 015, 020, 068, 112
I also added 095 to the hair to enhance the darker brown colour.
Having completed the colouring I cut the card to form a 139 cm sided square and using the Good Hair Day set of Tatty Twinkles stamps added the sentiment. I then matted this onto a 142 cm sided black card square before attaching it to a 6 inch by 6 inch square card blank.
Here is the finished card:

I cut the butterflies from card using a Tattered Lace die, coloured them using Promarkers and added glitter to the wings before sticking them to the right hand side of the card. The birthday wishes was also cut from card using Tattered Lace dies and coloured them before attaching to the card.

Special wishes
The theme for our new challenge today at Crafty Cardmakers and More is wings. I chose to use this lovely Tatty Twinkles image called Moonbeam. I coloured it using Spectrum Noir pens for the wings (I fined I can get a more delicate colour using these) and Promarkers for the rest of the image. The sentiment was stamped using another Tatty Twinkle set called 'Tommy Fairy'. I then dusted the edges using distress ink and then matted and layered the image onto shimmery paper and white card.

Tulips
The theme for this week's challenge at Eureka Stamps is spring flowers. The digi stamp I used is number 28502 (tulips) which I coloured using Promarkers and then cut out.
From a square of black card I cut out four windows using a Spellbinders classic square die and attached it to a base card. I then cut out two squares of pale blue and two of green coredinations cardstock using the same die. On the blue ones I stuck the tulips and trim the bottom edge of each image and then slotted them into diagonal windows. One of the green squares I embossed using the Die'sire Embossalicious called birthday text. I distressed this before fixing it in the third window. The remaining green square I fixed into the last window. I cut 'best wishes' out of red core'dinations cardstock using Tattered Lace dies and fixed this to the fourth square.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

A new home
I coloured this digi stamp called 'Mushroom house' from Make It Crafty using Promarkers. I chose greens, yellows and oranges to mirror the colour of daffodils that are out at the moment as I thought this appropriate for the person who is moving in the next few months. I then matted it onto a square base card. I coloured thin strips of silver peel off using permenant marker pens and outlined the image with them. I also used the same marker pen to colour the peel off sentiment.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

My first card uses a digi from A Day For Daisies called 'Vintage Mother Flower'. I coloured it using Promarkers and then matted it onto core'dinations cardstock.
I then embossed centura pearl card using Sheena Douglas' floral fabric folder, wrapped ribbon round it and matted it onto pink card. The matted image was then attached to this afterwhich I added a double bow and a peel off sentiment which I had coloured using pens.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Baking
This week the theme for our challenge at Creative Corner is animal fun.
I began by cutting a base card using a decorative circle die from Tattered Lace and dusting the edges with distress ink.
I used a Stitchy Bear digi called 'baked with love' whose creator is Digi Blessings. Using a graphics program I encircled it with the Happy Birthday sentiment. I then coloured it using Promarkers and very lightly shaded the background using the same coloured distress ink as used for the edge of the card. I then cut it out using the same die as previously and attached it to the base card offsetting the 'waves'.
Finally I added glitter to the spilt sugar.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
ABC - G is for go digital
