Dream dancer
I thought I'd have a little break from making Christmas cards, although I've still got a lot of those to make. The background paper was created using My Craft Studios 'A Very Important Date' CD ROM and a silhouette dancer from Dragons Lair Designs. I matted it onto white card and trimmed it with narrow peel off. The dancing figure was printed a second time, cut out and decoupaged onto the card.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The butterflies are cut from iridescent paper backed onto card using a flying beauties Spellbinders die. A floral oval Spellbinders die was used to cut the base on which the peel off sentiment was attached.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Robins
Another Christmas card completed! I wrapped two rows of narrow ribbon round paper from Wild Rose Studio's A Robin's Christmas paper pack and matted it onto white card. The stamped image 'Little festive robins' from Lili of the Valley was coloured using Promarkers and the edges inked with distress ink. It was then matted onto red mirri card.
I cut two branches from green card using a Tattered Lace lavish winter foliage die and fixed this to the top left hand corner of the card together with a bow made from the narrow ribbon. In the bottom right hand corner I attached a flower created by using Tattered Lace lavish poinsettia dies and a card candi. I sprayed it with glitter before attaching it.
The sentiment is made from waste peel off stuck to red mirri card.

Snowelf
This digi image called 'Snowelf' from Make It Crafty makes me think of what my grandsons could get up to. I can just imagine one of the older boys turning one of his younger siblings into a snowball or at least attempting to! I coloured it using Staedtler biros and applied some glitter to the snowman before matting it onto gold card.
The sentiment was stamped using a Penny Black stamp. I then embellished the card with centura pearl card snowflakes which had been cut using Tattered Lace dies. I stuck pearls in the centre of largest flakes and mini gem stones in the centre of the smallest flakes.

Penguin igloo
My son loves penguins, so I think he would quite like this image. I matted and layered a Berry Merry paper by Jennifer Ellary onto black mirri card and grey card. The image was stamped using Lili of the Valley's 'Igloo for two' stamp. I coloured it using Promarkers and added glitter to the igloo and snow. It was matted onto black mirri card and then attached to the card. The holly leaves embellishments were die cut from green miir card using a Tattered lace mini die, glued to green card and then cut out by hand. A 3D pen was used to form the berries. The sentiment was stamped using one of Crafter's Companion sentimental stamps and again matted onto black mirri card.

This is a simple card but it was the message that I wanted to be the main focus. I began by wrapping three rows of narrow ribbon round black card before matting it onto silver card. The challenge this week at Creative Corner is 'For the love of children' and is being sponsored by A Day for Daisies.
I distressed purple spotted core'dinations cardstock and mattered and layered it onto silver mirri and white card. The image 'Homemade seesaw' from A Day for Daisies was coloured using Promarkers and the edges shaded with distress inks. I then matted it onto darker purple core'dinations cardstock nd positioned it at an angle on the card. I cut three butterflies using Tattered Lace dies and fixed these to the card. The sentiment was cut using a Spellbinders classic square die and matted onto core'dinations cardstock cut using a Spellbinders scalloped square die.

Magical birthday
This is a birthday card for this halloween season, purples and orange if not the pumpkins. I matted and layered paper from Wild Rose Studio's Bluebell paper pad onto core'dinations cardstock, mirri and white card. The stamped image 'Abracadabra!' form Lili of the Valley was coloured using Promarkers and the edges very lightly dusted with distress inks. (Not very visible in the photo). I matted this onto core'dinations cardstock and glued some star and moon shapes onto the right hand side of the cardstock. I cut orange lettering using Tattered Lace elegant alphabet dies and coloured some peel off letters and arranged them on the card to form the sentiment.

Wren
Back to stamping and colouring for this card and this one brings back memories of blackberry picking when I was a child. The stamp used was Jayne Netley Mayhew's wren and I coloured it using Spectrum Noir pencils adding glossy accents to the berries. The sentiment was from the same set of stamps. The strip of design paper was printed using Joanna Sheen's House Mouse CD ROM and was matted onto core'dinations cardstock.

Ellie and tree
Here is a second Christmas card made using a panel and paper from Wild Rose Studio. I matted the lighter design paper onto green mirri card and white card. I then matted the strips of paper cut from yesterday's backing paper onto green mirri card and attached these to the card. I chopped the panel down and matted it onto green mirri card that had been cut using a Spellbinders marvelous square die. The holly embellishment was cut using a mini holly Tattered Lace die. The solid, paler under holly was made by drawing round the die cut piece and cutting it out. The berries were created using Liquid Pearls. The sentiment is a peel off attached to mirri card cut using a Spellbinders scalloped oval die. Finally I added some stars.

Elly Christmas
I used a Wild Rose Studio panel for this card, cutting it using a Spellbinder's oval die and matting it onto core'dinations cardstock cut using a Spellbinders scalloped oval die. The designer paper also from Wild Rose Studio (paper pack Xmas Bella) was again matted onto core'dinations cardstock. I wrapped ribbon round this before matting it onto white card.
The holly leaves were cut from mirri card using the mini holly Tattered Lace die. I drew round these on a lighter mirri card and cut out to form the solid backing to the holly. Three red gems, for berries, were glued in the centre of each.
The sentiment was cut in mirri card using Tattered Lace dies and glued onto mirri card matted onto core'dinations cardstock, each having been cut out using a Spellbinders die. A bow finished the card.

Bookmark
The challenge this week at Creative Corner is anything but a card. I decided to make a bookmark.
The image from Chocolate Baroque's March Fairy set was stamped onto a rectangular piece of card and coloured using Promarkers. I then dusted the background using distress inks. I took another wider piece of white card and cut the edges using the Tattered Lace over the edge flourish border die. The floral image was then matted onto this and this in turn was matted onto grey core'dinations cardstock which I then trimmed. I then cut a triangle from core'dinations cardstock and attached this to the back to form a corner pocket.
I wish to enter this into the following challenges:

Musical wishes
A few months ago I was invited to be a guest designer for Chocolate Baroque. I used some of their older stamps to create this card.
I cut a square of Neenah card and about 4cm in from the edges in pencil lightly drew a square of side 8cm. Around this on each side I stamped the floral spray
image from Chocoalate Baroque's floral bouquet set judging where the end leaf and the beginning of the spray were. I then rubbed out
the pencil lines and cut out a square around the image. This had a side
of about 13.5 cm.
I then stamped the violin, from Chocolate Baroque's music fanfare set in the
centre of the design and coloured it using Promarkers. Using distress inks I added colour to the background and then matted and layered the design onto lilac mirri card and white card. Finally I added the dry transfer lettering in a wavy line
to imitate floating musical notes.
