Poorly
My husband is in hospital at the moment, so it got me thinking that I should make some get well cards as my supply has run down.
The printed paper that I used has been lying around for sometime. I printed it from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse CD ROM but the ink in the printer was running low and so only the pink was printed. I have mattered and layered it onto beige and pink core'dination cardstocks and white card.
The image is from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Designs Allsorts set of stamps. I coloured it using Promarkers, applied distress inks to the edges and matted it onto beige core'dinations cardstock.
The flowers are made using a punch and the centres are quilled and coloured using Promarkers. The flourish is die cut from mirri card using a Creatables die.
Finally the peel off sentiment was applied to more of the printed paper and matted onto core'dinations cardstock. Two buttons were then added to it.
I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:

Kingfishers
I love kingfishers and really like this particular image.
I matted and layered the paper printed from Pollyanna Pickerings British Wildlife DVD ROM from Creative Crafter's World onto dark turquoise mirri card and white card having first wrapped black ribbon around the lower half of the paper. I then attached a bow and some gems to the ribbon.
The main image was printed from the same DVD ROM and I matted this onto the mirri card which had been cut out using a Spellbinders heart circle die. I stamped the flying kingfisher using a stamp from Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew collection and coloured it using Promarkers. I then glittered the wings.
The sentiment was created by using another one of the heart circle dies, a circle die, peel offs and a glittery button.

Hedgehog birthday
Over at Creative Corner this week it's 'a little bit'. We all have those little bits and bobs laying around our scrap spaces...a few little pieces of DP, a bit of ribbon, the odd embellishment. Our challenge for you this week is to use some of those on your project this week.
Both the digi prints that I used on this card are from Scribbles Designs. The happy birthday digi frame (free from Scribbles Designs http://scribblesdesignschallenge.blogspot.ca/) has been coloured using Promarkers whereas the hedgehog has been created by paper piecing. I printed the digi on to various scraps of already printed paper. The whole was matted onto copper mirri card and white card.

Irish Blessing
For this card I cut and embossed pale teal core'dinations cardstock using the Tonic Monarch arch butterfly die set. I attached this to darker teal core'dinations cardstock and then sprayed it with Crafter's Companion iridescent glitter (although the photo does not really show this) and mounted it onto a white card base which I had cut to fit the contours of the design. I then die cut three butterflies from teal mirri card and attached them with glue gel and glued mini gems around the arch.
The stamped verse is from a Chocolate Baroque stamp set and I mounted it onto teal mirri card which had been cut cut using a Spellbinders decorative labels eight die. The three surrounding butterflies were from the same set of stamps and were coloured using Promarkers.

Helping hand
This is a stamp that I have had for some time but have never got around to using it, but I thought it would suit a friend who does a lot of knitting.
I matted and layered amethyst and grey spotted paper onto amethyst core'dinations cardstock and white card. I then wrapped two rows of grey ribbon round grey spotted paper and attached this to the lower half of the card.
The image from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Designs Mice and Crafty set of stamps was coloured using Promarkers but using a silver gel pen to colour the knitting needles. This was then matted onto amethyst mirri card.
The sentiment was also matted onto amethyst mirri card which had been cut out using a petite scalloped Spellbinders die. I glued clear gems to the sentiment and amethyst gems to the lower ribbon and finally added some glitter to some of the balls of yarn.

Happy Valentine
This is my Valentine card for next year!!! Nothing like getting ahead of the game.
I embossed pale pink centura pearl card with a line of tumbling hearts using the Celebration board from Keepsake Card Craft and then matted and layered it onto red mirri card and white card. I then applied peel offs to all the embossed lines.
The image is a freebie from Digi Darla and I coloured it using Promarkers. I then applied peel offs to the edges of the three hearts, shaped it slightly and attached it to the card with glue gel.
Last but not least I stuck confetti hearts randomly to the background.

Celebrations
This is a small A6 card, a size I don't often make, to send congratulations to a friend on her engagement.
I matted the blue star paper onto blue mirri card and white card and then attached yellow paper ribbon along two edges. I then made a paper bow from more of the yellow strips and attached this to the bottom ribbon. I then stuck die cut pale blue mirri card stars (which were the 'waste' from a Spellbinders floral oval die ) onto the two ribbon strips.
The stamped image, 'Under the moonlight', from Lili of the Valley was coloured using Promarkers and the edges were dusted with distress ink. This was then matted onto mirri card before being attached to the card.
I then added a sentiment.
Finally I added glitter to the sentiment, stars and the bubbles rising from the glasses.

You're my princess
After all the rain a welcome bit of sunshine, enough to cast shadows on the card.
I matted and layered the plaid paper onto blue mirri card and white card. The strip of blue checked paper was also matted onto blue mirri card before attaching to the lower half of the card.
The image, a digi stamp from Paper Shelter, was coloured using Promarkers and matted onto burgundy mirri card. I applied glossy accents to the blue 'jewels' on
the crown and 'studs' on the collar.
The heart sentiment was made from burgundy mirri card and white card, both shapes being created using the Keepsake Card Craft 'Open Heart' board. I applied blue glitter glue round the edge of the white heart.
Finally a bow and card candi were added.

With Love
For this card I used Joanna Sheen's House Mouse and Friends CD ROM to print paper depicting violets and heather. This I matted and layered onto violet core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I then matted a strip of roses paper printed using Crafter's Companion Party Paws CD ROM onto violet core'dinations cardstock and attached this to the left hand side of the card.
I coloured the Lili of the Valley image 'Rosie Posy' using Promarkers and matted this onto violet mirri card cut out using a petite scalloped Spellbinders die and attached it to the card with foam pads. I then glued mini gems onto the paper wrapping the flowers.
A sentiment made from mirri card and peel offs was added, as were glitter buttons and a double bow.

Hedgehog love
I have a great many peel offs, so I have made use of them on this card. Paper printed from Debbi Moore Designs Valentine Bears CD ROM was matted onto cream card and peel offs were used to edge the paper.
I cut a rectangle from paper which I had printed sometime ago, so cannot remember which CD ROM I used, and stuck this on the card at an angle and edged this with peel offs.
I cut paper printed from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse and Friends triple CD ROM with a Spellbinders grand scalloped oval die and used this as my next layer. This I also edged with peel offs!
The image from Scribbles Designs which I had coloured with Promarkers was shaped and attached with glue gel.
Finally I added card candi and an old heart gem.

Faithful friend
I have used the CD ROM ' Faithful friends' from Ooh La La Creations to make this card. I matted and layered the printed plaited paper onto copper mirri card and cream card. The decoupage was also matted onto copper mirri card. For the border at the bottom of the card, I wrapped ribbon round the printed grass paper and matted this onto green core'dinations cardstock. The sentiment is white peel offs stuck to black card which was then matted and layered onto copper mirri card and green core'dinations cardstock. Finally I added a bow and some card candi.

A flower for you
We have a new challenge over at Creative Corner, the first after our Christmas break, so come and join us. The theme is 'seeing red'. We would like to see something red on your project.
This is another image of Bamboo from Crafter's Companion party Paws' stamp collection and I have coloured it using Promarkers. Although it does not show in the photograph, the stamens have been coloured with a silver gel pen and the little butterflies have been glittered. The background was dusted with distress inks.
Once the image had been attached to the base card it was outlined with pink peel offs. I also added pink peel off words for the sentiment. Triangles of pink core'dination cardstock were added around the edges and finally three gem stones were attached.
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:

She loves you
How many hearts can you find on this card? My daughter thought I was over doing it a little!
The base of this easel card is covered with paper printed from Joanna Sheen's House Mouse Design triple CD ROM.. I chose it because I thiught the petals looked like heart shapes. I have outlined it with silver peel offs. The same idea was used for the basis of the easel part of the card.
The easel stop is a doily matted onto bright pink centura pearl card and I coloured the words on it with a gel pen.
The image is from a Lili of the Valley tamp called 'Bunnies in love' and I coloured it using Promarkers. I made a heart template using Crafter's Companion ultimate and used it to cut out the image. The edges were dusted with distress ink before matting it onto bright pink centura pearl card. I then applied peel offs to the edge of the heart shape and added a 'With Love' peel off.
The two large centura pearl scalloped heart shapes were created using the Open Hearts board from Keepsake Card Craft (The Glitter Girls). These I positioned on the easel part of the card so that the whole card would fit into a 154 mm square card. I then attached the coloured image and glued 2 mm gems onto the large hearts. (Not to be recommended!)

Love is like a rose
Here are the cute House Mice again. Who can resist them? At least they are not getting up to mischief this time!
I have made a square easel card. Dark damask rose core'dinations cardstock was attached to the base of the card and red peel offs used to edge it. The stop for the easel was made from green core'dinations cardstock cut out using the Spellbinders rose border die, embossed and stenciled and then backed onto another piece of card. A little glitter was applied to the rose petals. Pearls were glued to the corners.
I wrapped red ribbon round paper printed from Crafter's Companion Party Paws CD ROM and matted and layered this onto red mirri card and white card. A short piece of ribbon was tied onto the strip of ribbon and pearls were also glued to the ribbon strip.
The image is from Joanna Sheen's love set of House Mouse Designs stamps and is coloured using Promarkers. This was fixed to the design paper. I then made a frame from red mirri card using Spellbinders curved rectangle dies and this was attached with foam pads over the image.
