Stars and stripes
My daughter's 18th birthday is on Saturday and she loves dragons, so I have made this card for her.
The stamp used here is from Elusive Images, now called Chocolate Baroque. It was coloured using Promarkers, cut out using a Spellbinders label ten die and then distress ink dusty concord applied to the edges. Periwinkle glitter was used on the dragons wings, pistachio glitter on its back and head and crystal glitter for the fire '18' from his nostrils. I then layered the image onto purple patterned paper.
Green stripped paper and pearlescent purple were matted and layered onto white card. A strip of purple starred paper was also matted onto the pearlescent purple before adhering to the card. Glitter was added to the centre of the stars. The prepared image was then added.
Square gems were added top and bottom together with a sentiment.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - make it sparkle
Dream Valley - purple and green
I Love Promarkers - anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy - use more than two patterned papers
Incy Wincy Design - colour palette
Kaboodle Doodles - anything but square
Crafty Cardmakers - winged things
Crafty Little Fairies - a numbered birthday
