Spring fling

The challenge at Crafty Cardmakers for the next fortnight has the theme floral profusion.
I began my card by embossing a rectangle of Hunkydory's adorable scorable card using the Avery folder from Tattered Lace and matting it onto cream card. The flowers were printed using Tattered Lace's Sweet Serenity Blissful Blooms CD ROM and then cut using the matching dies. The glass bowl was cut from packaging and silver mirri. I arranged the flowers in the bowl and then used wet glue on the lower half of the bowl to attach it to the card so that the top of the flowers are free to move.
The sentiment was cut using another Tattered Lace die.

Happy gardening

There is a new anything goes challenge at Crafting From the Heart today so do come and join in.
My main image used a Tatty Twinkles stamp called gardening makes you happy. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace essential byzantine die and matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock which was also cut out using a byzantine die.
I used Tattered Lace's essentials byzantine lattice die to emboss white card which I then matted and layered onto green core'dinations cardstock and white card.
The flower pots were stamp using a stamp from Jayne Nestorento's Cute Companions In the Garden set and coloured using Promarkers. I cut a slit in two of them and made a stack of three pots. The bird was created using a stamp form the same set. Also from the same set of stamps was the sentiment.

She loves me, she loves me not

I began by covering white card with daisy patterned printed paper I have had in my stash for some time. After decoupaging the House Mouse image I matted and layered it onto pink mulberry paper and gold card and tied a satin ribbon which I had coloured using Promarkers round the lower part of the card. This was then attached to the backing paper.
I used the Tattered Lace chamomile spray die to create the bouquet of flowers, doubling up on the flower heads and adding extra flowers to the spray. Promarkers were used to colour the spray of flowers.
Using a Tattered Lace ornamental with love die I cut the sentiment twice, colouring each cut piece with a different colour so that when one was placed on top of the other a dropped shadow could be formed.

The window was cut down from a Tattered Lace die cut and I attached acetate from packaging behind the frames. I then attached a clip art picture behind the whole window and attached it to the card. Flying high

The theme for this week's QKR Stampede challenge is anything goes with the added twist of up, up and away.
I used the image floating away (Number 8201) and after colouring it using Spectrum Noir pens fussy cut it out. I shaped it slightly and attached it using glue gel to 'sky' paper which I had matted and layered onto navy core'dinations cardstock and cream card.
Using a free die from a magazine I cut a tag and after colouring it using Promarkers wrote the sentiment. I then tied it to the base of the balloon using twine.

Easter bunny

This digi stamp from Beccy's Place is called Easter bunny and was coloured using Promarkers in the main, but glitter gel pens were used to colour the wrappings on the Easter eggs. I then matched myler paper to use as my matting and layering and the sentiment which was cut using a Tattered Lace die.

Tulips

This fortnight the theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge is spring into Spring.
Taking several sheets of the same image from Hunkydory's Little Book of Flowers I decoupaged the vase of tulips and matted it onto deep pink mulberry paper. I wrapped two rows of narrow pink satin ribbon round the lower edge of grey card and matted this onto white card. After attaching the image I cut Happy Birthday from the mulberry paper and attached this between the band of ribbon.

Happy gardening

This week the theme for the QKR Stampede challenge is anything goes with the twist spring is in the air.
I matted paper designed using Card Creation Plus' 'The garden shed' CD ROM onto black and then white card. The garden rabbit digi image (number 403) was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut, shaped slightly and then glue gelled onto the background. The fence and gate was cut using a Tattered Lace die, coloured using Promarkers and then attached to the card using foam pads. Finally I attached peel off letters to the shed.

Petunias

I began this card by embossing a square of white card using the Tattered Lace Jasmine folder and then matting and layering it onto red and then white card. I printed the  small cluster of Petunias digi from Imagine That twice coloured them using Promarkers and fussy cut them. After attaching them to the card I added a peel off sentiment.

Wild roses

This week's challenge at Crafting From The Heart is being sponsored by

and as always the theme is anything goes.

I have not used any digi stamps but have made use of stash and  a die that I have had for some time.
Using Tattered Lace's Florentine over the edge set 2 die twice I cut a lacy circle that stayed within the front of a square based card. Masking off the rest of the card I then sprayed the circle using Crafter's Companion iridescent spray and sparkle and then folded back the front half of the card. The papers and topper are from Kanban's 'The Language of Flowers' kit and I outlined the papers with strips of silver. I then attached a handmade flower to the lower left hand corner and added Stickles to its centre.
