L is for the colour light blue

I needed to make some quick cards so for this one I have simply wrapped ribbon around spotty paper to make it look like a parcel and added a tag from Hunkydory's Penguin Party tag pad with a bow.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes
Creative Inspirations - wonderful winter/feeling festive
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas - anything goes with optional buttons
Incy Wincy Designs - creatures and spotted paper
   Beccy's Place - holiday cards
Alphabet - p for patterned paper
A Perfect Time to Craft - anything goes

  1. Your card looks fantastic Mary, the red ribbon really stands out against the lovely soft blue paper. Great idea to add the large tag, it could be removed and used on a gift or even tied to the Christmas tree. Love those adorable little penguins.
    Cheers,

  3. What a lovely Christmas/winter card, I love the fun penguin scene and the soft background paper that goes so well with the snow in your image. Using red ribbon to create the impression of a parcel is such a clever way to place a tag on your creation, and one I have to remember. Also, it's a great way to incorporate a sentiment on your card without actually stamping a sentiment. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
