Floral delight

   For the next fortnight our challenge at Crafty Cardmakers has the theme of floral delight.
I chose to use a die from Tattered Lace called Magical midnight anniversary bouquet and coloured the cut out image using Promarkers. I then used glue gel to attach it to paper from my stash which had been matted and layered onto red and then white card. I added a bow made from red satin ribbon to the bouquet and also added a Tattered Lace die cut butterfly which again was coloured using Promarkers. The sentiment was cut from red card using Tattered Lace's all occasion sentiments die set.

Bug hugs

   Friday is here again and that means another anything goes challenge at QKR Stampede.
I matted paper which I had printed sometime ago so cannot remember which CD ROM I used onto green mirri. After attaching the ribbon to one corner of this I then matted it onto white card. The digi called Bug hugs was coloured using Promarkers and after cutting it out with a circle die I matted it onto green mirri cut out using Tattered Lace's hardwick scallop circle die. The sentiment surrounding the image was made from brown mirri cut out using Tattered Lace'd alphabet circus dies.

Ballerina

   This week the Crafting From the Heart challenge is being sponsored by

   I have used their digi called Sofi - beautiful ballerina on my card.

    I attached pale mauve paper from which  a Tattered Lace pearl circle had been cut to white card. From dark mauve paper I cut a pearl circle and fixed it into the aperture formed by the paler coloured paper. After colouring the digi using Promarkers I also cut it out using a pearl circle die and matted it onto the dark mauve paper. Finally I added a sentiment peel off strip around the image circle.

Sweet sixteen

    It's Saturday and time for another challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids. The theme is anything goes with the option of cards for teens.
    I attached double sided tape around the edge of a blank card and scattered glitter over it before attaching teal card to it. I then added the image from Hunkydory's Little book of milestone birthdays, edged it with narrow satin ribbon and then decoupaged it. I added a card candi to each corner.
   Using the ribbon I made a large H. I used a Tattered Lace die to create the rest of the letters for the sentiment and glittered them.

Bouquets

   It's Friday and a new anything goes challenge begins at QKR Stampede today.
   I matted paper printed using a House Mouse CD ROM onto green mirri and then white card to form the background for my design. The central digital image called Bouquet was coloured using Promarkers and then matted onto green mirri. I used the Tattered Lace die called chamomile spray to create the embellishments. These were also coloured using Promarkers. I added a bow to one of the sprays and a glitter peel off sentiment.

Popcorn romance

   The challenge beginning at Crafty Cardmakers today has the theme love and romance.
I matted deep pink paper onto white card and added a pale strip of pink down the left hand side. The image from the romance set of Popcorn the bear stamps was coloured using Promarkers. After cutting it out using a Tattered |Lace velvet Lace mini ruffle square die I coloured the edge and then embossed the ruffle. The sentiment and little hearts were stamped  using stamps from the same romance set and I cut these out using a tattered lace mini ruffle rectangle die and treated the edges in the same way as those of the main image. Finally I glued three red gem hearts to the pale pink strip.

Crazy love

   Another anything goes themed challenge begins today at QKR Stampede. With Valentines day not far off I choose to use this image called crazy love. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die and then attached it to paper from my stash which had been matted onto green and then white card. Using more of the green card I cut the sentiment using Tattered Lace's washing line lots of love die. I also added some die cut hearts.

Big owl

   I have used the Oddball Art digi called Big Owl bookworm. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace pin dot circle die and matted and layered it onto a square of black card, printed paper from my stash and white card. I then added three copper pearls to each corner of the black card and a sentiment cut from black card using the tattered Lace ornamental with love die.

Orchid girl

   This month the challenge at Dragonfly Dreams is being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and has the theme flowers.
   I used paper from an old magazine as the background for my card and framed it using strips of pearlescent card which I had mitred at the corners. The image from Lacy Sunshine is called 'Rory's orchids' and after colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die. I added some tuck in flowers cut using a Tattered Lace die and coloured using Promarkers and added a pearl to the centre of each flower. The sentiment was cut from black card again using Tattered Lace dies.

Spring bunny

      This time the theme for the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge is Easter or spring cards. I have used the Bebunni stamp taken from the brighten my day set and coloured it using Promarkers and dusting the edges using Distress ink. I matted it onto heavy green paper and attached yellow organza ribbon across each corner. I then matted it onto heavy brown paper and repeated with another row of ribbon. It was then matted onto white card. Finally I added a green peel off sentiment.
