On the farm
This week's theme for the QKR Stampede challenge is 'down on the farm'.
I matted blue card onto white card. On top of this I stuck green card which I had cut to form the edge of a grassy field. Using a die from Tattered Lace's winter scene set I cut trees from core'dinations cardstock and used them to edge the field.
I coloured the digi image 'mare and foal' (number 18012) using Promarkers, fussy cut it out and attached it to the card using glue gel.
Using a walk in the countryside edge die from Tattered Lace I created a fence. I again coloured it using Promarkers and attached it using glue gel. Finally I used the Little Bo Peep die from tattered Lace and cut out three lambs which I coloured and fixed to the card.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers. The theme is summer. I have used several copies of the same design from Hunkydory's Little Book of Flowers and decoupaged the image. I then matted and layered it onto core'dinations cardstock and white card. I used two of the 'waste' leaves to embellish the bottom of the card and cut the sentiment, using Tattered Lace dies, from other bits of waste.

Puppy
This week the challenge at Crafting From the Heart is being sponsored by
and I have used their digi image puppy paws on my card.
Sometime ago I printed the design paper for another project and the left over piece has been lying in my stash box but it seemed ideal for this card. I matted and layered it onto core'dinations cardstock and white card to form the base for my design.
I tiled a small image of the digi, coloured it using Promarkers and matted it onto a strip of core'dinations card strip and attached it as a border to the lower part of the card. I coloured a larger image also using Promarkers and cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl square die. Whilst it was still in the die I lightly dusted some blue distress ink onto it. I then attached it to the card using foam pads. Finally I attached a satin bow to the corner of the image.

I drew and coloured using Promarkers the earth on part of a circle and attached this to the bottom right hand corner of the card.
I coloured the image 'rocket day' (number 12404) using Promarkers, fussy cut it out, slightly shaped it and attached it to the card using glue gel. The stars were also fussy cut out and attached.

I then mounted it using foam pads onto card which I had already coloured using distress inks. I cut out a parasol and attached this by the mermaid.

The image Ta-da is from Scrapper's Delights and I coloured it using Promarkers. I then cut it out using a Tattered Lace notched square die but allowed one foot and hand to go over the die. This I then matted onto more black card.

I matted paper from Papermania onto pink core'dinations cardstock and white card. After decoupaging the mice image I matted it onto green card before attaching it to the main card. I selected part of another paper from Papermania and matted that onto green card also to form my sentiment. Christmas in July is the theme for the challenge beginning today at QKR Stampede. I have used a digi image from their sister company Eureka Stamps called Christmas carousel (# 16804). The papers used on my card are from a Kaisercraft Christmas Collections paper pad. After attaching the decoupaged image to my card I outlined it using maroon gold edged peel off strips.
