Hula frog
We would like you to add bling to your creation in this weeks challenge at Eureka Stamps.
I matted paper from DCWV onto deep pink mirri card and then wrapped magenta ribbon round the lower edge. On top of this I stuck a yellow metallic strip. My image is Hula girl frog (number 24706) and I coloured it using Promarkers in the main but used a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen for the skirt. After cutting it out using a Tattered Lace die I added dots of Stickles around the edge.
I cut out three leaf flourishes using a Tattered Lace mini heart flourish die and sprayed them with iridescent Spray and Sparkle from crafters Companion. Having attached them to the card I added a medium size pink flower gem and two smaller flower gems. To the centre of the medium gem I added yellow Stickles.

Easter bunny
Getting really ahead - here is a card for Easter next year!
The image Easter bunny honey from Sassy Studio was coloured using Promarkers. As it was to be for an Easter card I cut it out using a Tattered Lace oval die since this was the nearest thing I had to an egg shaped die and matted it onto pearlescent card. I shaped the top part of a cream rectangular card to mirror the top of the oval to form the base of my card and matted paper printed using the CD ROM from volume one of the House Mouse project books, having first wrapped ribbon round the lower part of the paper. I outlined the paper using flexible peel off strips. the sentiment was cut from pearlescent card using a Tattered Lace die. Finally I added a bow to the ribbon strip.

Lipstick
This was made using digi stamps from Scrapper's Delights. Using a graphics program I changed the colour of the lips to red and then tiled them to form a background paper which I matted and layered onto red and then white card. I coloured the lipstick using Promarkers and after cutting it out matted it onto red card cut out using a Spellbinders scalloped rectangle die. The computer generated sentiment was also matted onto red card.

Pansies
The challenge beginning today at Crafty Cardmakers has a 1, 2, 3 theme. You are being asked to use 1 image, 2 papers and 3 different embellishments in your project.
I have used papers printed from Tattered Lace's Charisma Pansy CD ROM in my creation. I matted the checkered paper onto mirri card and wrapped a ribbon and bow taken from packaging around the lower portion of this. I then matted it onto white card. I also matted my second paper onto mirri card and attached this to the left hand side of the card.
I cut out the pansies using a Tattered Lace die and after decoupaging it I matted this onto mirri card cut out using a Spellbinders label 6 die and attached it to the card. I added some Stickles to the flower centres.
I attached three card candi to the top right hand corner of the card and finally a wooden 'love' sentiment from Lillibet was fixed across the centre of the left hand band.

Christmas cheers
The theme for this weeks challenge at Eureka Stamps is buttons and bows.
I decided to make a start on my Christmas cards and my step-daughter and her family have a very fluffy grey cat so I decided to use this image 'cat and ornament' (number 12602) which I coloured using Promarkers for their card. I added the sentiment 'time to get' (number 17701) to it and then matted and layered it onto black card and red hammered card.
Using some printed satin ribbon I made a double bow and attached this to the card twisting the tails of the ribbon before sticking them to the card. I then added a button to the centre of the bow.

Time for tea
This week's challenge at Crafting From the Heart is being sponsored by Scrapper's Delight and the theme as always is anything goes.
I have used their image 'Time 4 a Cuppa' and after colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out using a Tattered Lace pearl rectangle die.
I matted the green design paper from DCWV onto white card and then cut a smaller rectangle of blue paper in the same design. Around the lower part of this I wrapped several rows of green ribbon. I then attached this to the card and onto this the image. I cut out the stamped sentiment using a Tattered Lace charisma frames 2 die and coloured the edge using distress ink before releasing it from the die. Using glue gel I attached it to the ribbon.

Just to say . . .
For this weeks challenge at Eureka Stamps a sketch has been given as inspiration.
I wrapped silver ribbon which had come from some packaging around the centre of patterned paper that I have had in my stash for several years and matted and layered it onto silver mirri and white card. From the same stack of stash I used strips of grey embossed paper and matted these onto silver mirri card before attaching above and below the ribbon.
The image is digi number 36501 (wolf). Using Promarkers I added some grey green colour to the foliage before cutting it out using a Tattered Lace oval die and matting it onto silver mirri. Finally I added a peel off sentiment to the lower right hand corner of the card.

Piano recital
I used to teach in a music school (not music I hasten to add) so this image reminds me of those times.
I matted and layered paper printed from My Craft Studio Papercraft Library CD ROM Men-y Happy Returns onto red mirri and white card. The image from KennyK called Tori Famous was coloured using Promarkers and matted onto black mirri card. I then attached a pearl to each corner.
I added some musical notes cut from black mirri card using the Tattered Lace die musical notes and a white peel off sentiment which followed the lines on the background paper.

Waste of make up
The theme for the challenge starting at Crafty Cardmakers today is shaped cards.
I used a Spellbinders grand big scalloped circle die to create an easel card. Using the same size die I cut out black card and trimmed it, attaching the trimmed edge to the edge of the easel card base and the main part to the front of the card. I then cut two scalloped circles from stripped paper from Papermania and attached one to the base and the other to the front of the card.
The image is from Acid Drops and Whatnots stamp set 'Waste of Make-Up'. After colouring it using Promarkers I cut it out with a circle die and matted it onto a circle of black card.
To form the stop for the card I stamped the sentiment onto white card which I then cut out using a Spellbinders large classic scalloped circle die. This I then matted onto black card before attaching to the base using foam pads.

Blossoms for mum
The theme for the new challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids is for mums or special female and is being sponsored by two generous sponsors:
Sami Stamps who are offering a $12 gift certificate
and
Dies R Us who are offering a $15 gift certificate.
I have used a Sami Stamps digi image called Blossoms girl. I coloured it using Promarkers, cut it out and matted it onto silver mirri card.
The designer paper I used was something I printed out a long time ago and one of the ink cartridges in the printer had run out so that the colours were not true so had put it aside. (Hence the mauve hue of the rose buds leaves). I matted it onto white card and bordered it with silver strips.
The flower embellishments were cut from white card using the Tattered lace die English rose and coloured using Promarkers. The sentiment is a silver peel off.

The stamped image is from Crafter's Companion Bebunni floral collection. After colouring it using Promarkers I rounded the corners using a punch and matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment, heat embossed it using silver embossing powder and matted it onto green core'dinations cardstock. Finally I added a bow made from the pink ribbon.
