For our new challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids we want you to make celebration cards. Again we are being sponsored by three generous sponsors:
The Paper Shelter (3 digis),
DRS Designs ($10 gift certificate)
and
Fred She Said ($10 gift certificate).
I hope you will join us.
For my first card I matted paper printed from My Craft Studio's Charisma Peony CD ROM onto deep mauve core'dinations cardstock. I then wrapped two layers of washi tape round the lower half of this before matting it onto white card.
I coloured the image from The Paper Shelter called 'Patissier in distress' using Promarkers and then cut it out using a Spellbinders circle die so that the image was just escaping the edge. I then matted this onto deep mauve core'dinations cardstock. I stuck the black peel off sentiment onto white card and also matted this onto some deep mauve core'dinations cardstock.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers - anything goes
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy - hand coloured image
Crafty Catz - anything goes
A Bit More Time to Craft - anything goes
Addicted to Stamps and More - anything goes
Crafty Creations - don't be blue
For my second card I used paper from Wild Rose Studio's 'A robin's Christmas' paper pack and matted and layered it onto blue core'dinations cardstock and white card.
I coloured the digi image from DRS Designs called 'Winter buddies' using Promarkers and after cutting it out I used a punch to round the corners. I then matted it onto blue core'dinations cardstock before attaching it to the card. From white card I cut two sprigs of holly using a Tattered Lace mini holly die. I coloured these using Promarkers and then matted them onto green core'dinations cardstock and attached them to the corner of the image using glue gel. Finally I added a Happy Christmas peel off.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
ABC - t is for two
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas - for a child
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra - anything goes
