Cool penguin

Our theme for the challenge at Eureka Stamps this week is monochrome. I chose to use digi image number 1601 (penguin on ice), added some shading using Promarkers, although the photograph does not show this very well, and cut it out.
I embossed white card using the Bebunni Snowflake folder from Crafter's Companion and matted and layered it onto black and then white card. I shaped the cut out image slightly and attached it to the card using glu gel. Using the Tattered Lace elegant alphabet dies I cut letters from black card to form the sentiment. Lastly I added some glitter to the ice block.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Without Words - for the boys
   Digi Choosday - monochrome
   Crafty Catz - special occasion
   Papertake Weekly - animal image
Crafty Sentiments Designs - anything goes
   Crafty Boots - monochrome
Crafting By Designs - anything goes
Digitally Sweet - anything with wings
   Sweet Stampin - emboss it
Alphabet - p is for pelican, peacock and other birds
