The theme for the new challenge starting today at Creative Corner is 'Just for Dad'.
I while ago I printed some brickwork paper but the printer was low on inks and so it printed the bricks with a very pink hue. Rather than throw the paper away I dusted it with pumice stone distress ink and used it as the background for this card, matting and layering it onto black and then white card.
The digi image I used is from Make It Crafty and is called building blocks with dad. I coloured it using Promarkers, dusted the edges using distress inks and matted it onto black card.
The sentiment was cut from core'dinations cardstock using Tattered Lace dies.

Oh this is so fabulous, love that you didn't throw away your printed brick paper, it's so perfect with this adorable image. I need to get this image, I don't know how many pic's I have of my husband and son building Lego models, lol. Love this.
