It's the third Saturday of the month, so that means the start of another challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids. Our theme for this challenge is anything goes 4 kids and again we are being sponsored by three generous sponsors: Doodle Pantry ($10 gift certificae), DRS Designs ($10 gift certificate) and Kitchen Sink Stamps ($25 gift certificate).
My first card uses digital elements from Doodle Panty's Ant Masquerade. I wrapped some wide spotted ribbon round the ladybird paper and mattered and layered it onto black and then white card. I coloured the image using Promarkers and then dusted three of the edges with distress ink before matting it onto black card. I added some glitter to the wings of the bee. The sentiment I matted onto red card before fixing it to the card using foam pads.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Dream Valley - things with wings
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy - things with wings
Incy Wincy Designs - the great outdoors
Crafty Calendar - things with wings
Papertake Weekly - in the garden
Scribbles Designs - B is for bugs
Buckwell's Crafty - spots or stripes or both
Crafty Boots - ribbon or lace
Inspiration Destination - anything goes
For my second card I matted blue card onto black card and then wrapped washi tape round it before matting the whole onto white card. The digi image from DRS Designs is called Jimbo and the gang and I coloured it using Promakers. I matted it onto black card before fixing it to the card. I then attached some leaves die cut from core'dinations cardstock to the image using glue gel. The letters were cut from black card using Tattered Lace dies and arranged to form the greeting.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts - no squares allowed
Digi Sketch - animals
Crafty Ribbons - animals
The Cutie Pie - layer it up
Paper Creator's Craft - animals
Pile It On - cute animal
Scrapbook Stamp Society - anything goes
C.R.A.F.T. - birthday
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
The Stamping Boutique - die cut or punch
