Cottage garden
The theme for the new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is 'explosion of colour'. I immediately thought of a garden when all the flowers are in bloom so I have made a card using a sheet from Howard Robinson's decoupage set from Joanna Sheen. After making up the decoupage I matted it onto pink core'dinations cardstock. The background paper was printed using My Craft Studio's CD ROM called Bloomin' Perfect and this was matted and layered onto core'dinations cardstock and white card. The greeting was cut using Tattered Lace sentiment dies. Each word was cut twice - one in black and one in green - and attached to give a shadow effect.

This week's challenge at Crafting From the Heart is being sponsored by
Oddball Art
I used their digi called vegan chilli bowl and coloured it using Promarkers. I cut it out using a Spellbinders circle die and matted it onto core'dinations cardstock which I had cut using a Spellbinders classic scalloped circle die.
The paper which I had in my stash was matted onto paler core'dinations cardstock and then onto white card. The sentiment was made from brown and orange core'dinations cardstock which had been cut using letters from Tattered Lace's elegant alphabet set of dies. The letters were arranged to mimic the steam trails and the orange ones were placed on top of the brown ones to create a shadow effect. Finally I coloured three card candi and attached these to the top right hand corner of the card.

Let's Party
I used three different textured papers (orange mulberry, paler crinkled and white lacy) which I have had in my stash for several years cutting them to different widths and layering them onto white card. i then attached black peel off strips to the borders. The digi image called Honey Anime 4 is from Scrapper's Delights and after colouring using Promarkers I fussy cut it and attached it to the card using glue gel. The letters for the sentiment were cut from black card using Tattered Lace's elegant alphabet set.

Wine and grapes
This card uses the wine and grapes digi image from Dragons Lair Designs. I coloured it using Promarkers and after cutting it out using a Spellbinders square die I matted it onto core'dinations cardstock which had been cut using a Spellbinders scalloped square die.
The background paper is from a Kaisercraft Christmas paper pad and I matted and layered it onto beige core'dinations cardstock and white card. The leaves are cut from crepe paper using a Tattered Lace die from their foliage set and the letters for the sentiment were cut using their alphabet circus die set.

Wild west is the theme for this week's challenge at QKR Stampede.
I have used the digi image Country crooning (number 24106) which I coloured using Promarkers and fussy cut. I then attached it to a background which I had created using the My Craft Studio CD ROM 'Setting the scene' and matted and layered onto black card and then white card. Dies only
Creative Corner would like you to use only black and white in their challenge this week. I have departed from my normal type of card and used dies only and no alcohol pens.
I cut two black card squares and attached them in opposite corners to a large square of white card. The decorative ring was created by snipping into black and white card cut using Tattered Lace's rose posy die. I cut two of each colour using the second piece to decoupage the roses.
I used Tattered Lace'd notched square dies to cut the centre squares and dies from their all occasions sentiments set to cut the greeting. The butterflies were cut from a Signature die from Joanna Sheen.
