Stained glass window

   The theme for the new Crafty Cardmaker's challenge is 'It's a bug's life'.
   Being rather busy lately I made a quick card. I have used Hunkydory's The Lily Pond dragonfly die and the accompanying paper pad and matted the design onto black card. I added some bees cut using a Tattered Lace Peony Pavilion Accents die and a sentiment.

Easter bunny

   A little early, but what is wrong with being prepared! Today sees the start of a new QKR Stamped challenge and I chose to use this cute bunny with bow which I coloured using Promarkers and then fussy cut. The egg was cut using a Tattered Lace shaped oval die and then I used an embossing tool to create the markings on the 'chocolate'. They should have been indentations but the card curled the wrong way! The sentiment was also cut using a Tattered Lace die.

Busy knitting

   Another card made with the cute House Mice. The decoupage pieces were printed using the the House Mouse Decoupage CD ROM and matted onto pink card and turquoise card which I turned slightly. The background design paper was printed using the CD RO from the House Mouse project book and matted and layered onto turquoise card and then white. I then decoupaged two of the little mice and added them to the edge of the design. The sentiment was cut from pink card using Tattered LAce dies.

Enjoying the sun

   Another QKR Stampede anything goes themed challenge begins today.
   I have used the digi called enjoying the sun, coloured it using Promarkers and fussy cut it. The background was made using scrapes of card (I tore the bottom blue card to creat the water's edge foam) and matted onto black and then white card. Some highlights using old stamping pads were added. The birthday greetings sentiment was cut using a die from Tattered Laces all occasions sentiment set and Christmas sentiment set respectively.

Butterfly curl

   This month's Dragonfly Dreams challenge is being sponsored by

and has the theme 'no patterned paper'.

   I coloured my background card using Distress Inks and the digi called butterfly curl using Promarkers. I then matted and layered it onto deep orange mirri, yellow mirri and white card. The sentiment was cut from the deep orange mirri using a Tattered Lace die and finally I added three yellow pearls.

Happy dog

   A new QKR Stampede challeng starts today with the usual theme of anything goes.
   I have used the digi called happy dog and coloured it using Derwent Coloursoft pencils. I then matted it onto black ard cut out using a Tattered Lace pearl circle die. The paper printed using a CD ROM were left over remains knocking around in my stash and after matting them onto black card slotted them behind black satin ribbon which I had wrapped around grey card. I then matted this onto white card and added grey pearls to finish the card.
