Christmas triple easel

 

   This triple easel cards uses three toppers from an old Hunkydory kit.

Z is for the colour zenith blue

   During the month of November I set myself the challenge of making a Christmas card which used a colour beginning a different letter of the alphabet. I have finally reached the 26th letter and have learnt the names of a lot of colours!!

   The digi from Lee Holland called 'dragon hugging a penguin' was coloured using Promarkers and the sentiment was cut from silver mirri using a Carnations Craft die. The backing paper, matted onto silver mirri, was printed using a Popcorn the Bear CD ROM from Crafter's Companion.

Y is for the colour yellow

 

   This digi image called lamb of God from Beccy Muir has been coloured using Promarkers. The words for the sentiment were cut using Tattered Lace dies.

   I love these little dragons from Lee Holland. This one is called dragon in Santa hat and I have coloured it using Promarkers adding some loose glitter to the snow.

Happy snowman

   

   Just a quicky using some odd scrapes of paper and a digi from Crafty Sentiments Designs coloured using Promarkers and Derwent coloursorft pencils. I used frostings on the snowman's hat and stickles on the snow and tree.

W is for the colour white

 

   I placed deep blue glitter card behind the white nativity die cut which had been cut using a Creative Expressions die. The part fir trees were cut using a Carnation Crafts die and I used Tattered Lace dis to cut the sentiment. I finished the card by sticking the waste stars onto the base diecut.

   Another card using a page from Hunkydory's bitesize book of A Child is Born adding more recycled ribbon and a sentiment cut using Tattered Lace dies. I just love the colours in the sky of this image.

   The patterned paper was printer using a Popcorn the Bear CD ROM from Crater's Companion and the snowman was cut using a Papercuts die from Creative Expression and used ribbon to mask the join between the two.

   For this card I have used die cuts from Dawn Wheeler's traditional Christmas pad and placed them in a circle to form a wreath. I added Stickles to the pin cones.

     The theme for this fortnight's Aud Sentiments challenge is anything goes.

I have used a Popcorn the bear decoupaged image and put it on an easel card. The background paper which uses the same image was printed using a Crafter's Companion CD ROM and I used My Craft Studio to make the sentiment.

    The digi image from Lee Holland is called 'dragon present' and I coloured it using Promarkers. The backing paper is from Papermania and after matting it onto blue mirri I wrapped a narrow piece of ribbon round one of the corners and then matted it onto purple card. I then added a bow.

L is for the colour light blue

   I needed to make some quick cards so for this one I have simply wrapped ribbon around spotty paper to make it look like a parcel and added a tag from Hunkydory's Penguin Party tag pad with a bow.

    I used a Paper Shelter digi called 'A cheerful snowman' for this card and coloured it using Promarkers. The snowflake frame was cut using a Carnation Crafts die from their Christmas time set and the sentiment was cut using dies from their A Christmas eve set.

Snow globe

 

    The image I have used here is 'Reach for the star' from Little Darlings Rubber stamps. I coloured it using Promarkers and after cutting it out I inked the edge using distress ink.

   Using the snowglobe die from Tattered Lace and white, green and red card I made up the base card onto which I matted my image. I then added gold peel off stars and Happy Christmas sentiment.

   The trees in the background are stamped. The card shape and frame were cut using the Christmas eve set of dies from Carnation Crafts and the decoupaged deer were cut from downloadable vignettes using dies from the same set. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out using Tattered Lace dies.

   The dies and downloadable vignettes for the pine cone frame used on this card are from Carnation Crafts 'The glow of Christmas' collection as is the background paper. The robin was cut using a die from Two Red Robbins 'field of dreams' collection and the matching downloadable reflection. o finish the card I added a silver peel off sentiment.

   The image on this card is from Hunkydory's bitesize book of  'A child is born' and I cut it out using a Spellbinders label 8 die. I drew round this die to cut out the gold mirri mat for it. The ribbon is recycled from a chocolate box and the sentiment was cut from gold mirri using Tattered Lace dies.

   This fortnight's Aud Sentiment challenge has a Christmas theme. It is being sponsored by Hetty Clare.

   I have used their digi image called Country Girl Christmas. After colouring it using Promarkers I fussy cut it and attached it to a circle of paper cut from a Papermania Christmas paper pack. I then matted it onto dark blue mirri card. I wrapped red  sentiment ribbon round dark blue card that had been matted onto dark blue mirri and then matted this onto white card. I added some white card candi at random to finish the card.
