Dragon with dragonfly

   This image from Lee Holland called Dragon with dragonfly was coloured using Derwent Coloursoft pencils and matted onto green card. The frame was cut using a Tattered Lace die from their South Field Picture Decoupage set.  I also used another die from this set to create the oval shaped card. The sentiment cut using a Tattered Lace die was placed on an oval cut using a Spellbinder die.

A hard day

Lu Lu Bee

   I coloured this image called Lu Lu Bee from Paper Nest Dolls using Promarkers and added loose glitter to the wings. I wrapped white and teal recycled ribbons around pale teal card and matted and layered this onto dark teal and white card adding bows, teal gems and a teal peel off sentiment to complete the card.

So chic

   I am pleased to have been invited to be a guest designer for this fortnights Incy Wincy Designs challenge. The theme for the challenge is steam punk and/or vintage and I was given The Paper Shelter image So Chic with which to play. I coloured it using Promarkers and fussy cut it out

   I distressed the edges of the lace design paper taken from an old Joanna Sheen paper pad and matted it onto pink card. Before matting this onto white card I wrapped lace round the left hand side. I attached a doily to the card and on top of this I placed the digi which I had slightly shaped. The flowers were cut from downloadable vignettes using a Carnation Crafts vintage blooms die set. I then added the lace bow and tucked a sentiment plaque behind the flowers.

Pink bird

   Just a quick card made using dies and downloadable vignettes from Carnation Crafts taking flight set.  The sentiment was cut using a tattered Lace die. I haven't made DL cards for a long time but having made this one I decided that I quite liked the shape and made a stack of them!

Sunbonnet flowers

   The March Dragonfly Dreams challenge has the theme of  'include a flower'.

   I have used a digi image from Bugaboo called Sunbonnet flowers and coloured it using Promarkers. It is matted onto gold mirri cut using a Tattered Lace pin dot circle die. The background paper is from a Kaiser Craft paper pad which came with a magazine many years ago and is matted and layered onto gold mirri and cream card. The flowers and leaves in the bouquet were cut using a Carnations Craft die from their bouquet collection set and were coloured using Promarkers and tied together with narrow gold ribbon.

Birthday boy

   The March Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge has the theme of for the boys.

   I have made an easel card. The backing paper used is from an old We are Memory Keepers paper pad and was matted and layered onto brown co-ordinations cardstock and cream card. The digi image from The Paper Shelter is called casual boy and I coloured it using Promarkers. It also is matted onto brown co-ordinations cardstock. The sentiment used on the easel stopper was cut using a Tattered Lace die. I finished the card by adding three card candies to each of the corners of the base and easel part of the card.
