A is for angel

   As Christmas approaches more quickly than I had anticipated I have to make some quick cards! This one uses items from an old Hunkydory Christmas kit, a strip of gold ribbon and a gold mirri mat.

You're a star

    This card was made with my grand daughter in mind as she has just started experimenting in dying her hair, purple being one of  her choice colours.

    I coloured this digi stamp from Oddball Art called Sugar the Zombie using Promarkers. After cutting it out using a Tattered Lace ornamental torn edge oval die I coloured the edge using a black Promarker pen and matted it onto white card cut using another ornamental torn edge die. The background layer is purple mirri with a star pattern on it. The sentiment is made using peel off letters which I coloured and I finished the card with five gem stones.

Little witch

   The theme for this fortnight's Crafty Cardmakers challenge is things that go bump in the night.

   I have made a card for a Halloween birthday.  

   The background paper was printed from a Halloween artwork pack downloaded from Crafting and matted and layered onto black then cream card. Before printing part of the background sheet again I typed on the sentiment. I cut this out and matted it onto black card. The central character called 'Little witch' is a digi stamp from Beccy's Place which I coloured using Promarkers and fussy cut.

Gerbera tag

    For this fortnight the Crafty Cardmakers would like you to create a tag.

   I have used a digi from Beccy's Place called Gerbera frame. After colouring it using Chameleon and Promarker pens I cut it out using a Tattered Lace reflections tag die and matted it onto white card. I then added a bee cut using a Tattered Lace die and two strips of ribbon.

Flying school

    The blue background paper, mice, grasses and ladder were printed using downloadable vignettes from various Carnation Crafts collections and I used their dies to cut out the pieces. The brickwork paper and the speed limit were from scraps I had left over from papers printed using La Pashe CD ROMS. The gravel paper is scrap from a very old paper pad and the flying school notice was hand written. The whole is matted and layered onto deep blue card and white.

Winter goodies

    Today sees the start of a new challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids. The theme for this challenge is holidays and celebration.

    I have used a digi stamp from Bugaboo called winter goodies, coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a notched rectangle die from Tattered Lace. The sentiment was also cut using a Tattered Lace die. To finish the card I added three small gem stones.
