THE NEXT STOP IS:

My first card uses two digis from Sparkle and Sprinkle - a wreath and a snowman with wreath. I printed one inside the other, coloured the combined images using Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens, fussy cut and mattered and layered it onto paper from my stash and white card. I then added various coloured Stickles to the wreath.

My second card uses the penguin digi from Fred She Said .

I used it twice, flipping the second one and reducing it slightly in size. After colouring it using Promarkers I added some Stickles to the snow and matted it onto blue card. The paper from my stash was matted and layered onto the same colour card and then white card. The sentiment was cut from red card using the Tattered Lace die season's greetings washing line.

As usual the theme is anything goes.

I have used the image 'Splash the dolphin' colouring it using Promarkers. I used paper printed using the Everyday CD ROM from My Craft Studio for the water and dusted the sky using Distress ink. Glitter was then added to the splashes and water and gems to the water droplets. I framed the image with dark blue card cut using a frame from Hunkydory's Moonstone with love die set.
The background of the card is sea blue mirri which I embossed with a bubbles embossing folder from Crafter's Companion. This was the matted and layered onto blue then white card. Finally I added the sentiment cut using a die from the afore mentioned Hunkydory set.

Hydrangeas

The hydrangeas in my garden seem not to mind all the heat that we have been experiencing at the moment and these decoupaged flowers remind me of them. They were printed and cut using Tattered Lace's CD ROM and dies called Duchess collection and the half frame was cut using dies from the summer selection of melded frames set. The matted layers consist of pearlescent paper, mauve and white card stocks. The sentiment is a peel off coloured using a permanent pen.

Countryside collection

This is a card I made using the dies and CD ROM from Tattered Lace's Countryside collection.
The frame and mat for the flowers were cut using the charisma country meadow dies. These are rectangular dies but by letting them overhang the base of the cutting machine and positioning the second run through carefully I was able to cut square shapes. The decoupaged flowers were cut using a die from the charisma country garden set. A die from one of Tattered Lace's magazines was used to cut the sentiment cut from mirri.

I then matted this onto rainbow mirri card. The raindrops also from the same mirri card were created from the petals of a sunflower punch. Sweet peas

This fortnight the theme for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge is to use at least two dies or punches or one of each.
I used the Tattered Lace sensational sweet pea die and the accompanying paper pack to cut the flowers and glued a square of dark mauve card behind the central frame, attaching a die cut sentiment to it. After using a ball tool on the reverse to shape the flowers I matted it onto acetate taken from the lid of an old box of Christmas cards. I then matted and layered this onto pale green card, pale mauve card and white card. Using a die from Tattered Lace's peony pavilion accents I cut out butterflies and attached these to the card on strips of acetate so that they moved a little.
