Bunny and butterflies

   Another anything goes themed challenge begins over at QKR Stampede today.
   I have made a shaped card using a die from Tattered Lace's card shapes circles set. I then cut a circle from black card and placed it behind card cut from the cover of an old exercise book using  a Tattered Lace decorative edge circle die and attached it to the base card.
   The image called bunny and butterfly was coloured using Promarkers and I added two butterflies, decoupaging the wings, cut using Tattered Lace dies. Finally I added a peel off sentiment.

Chicks, flowers and eggs

   For the challenge beginning today at Crafty Cardmakers we would like to see bunnies, chicks or eggs.
   I have used several pages of the same image from Hunkydory's Little Book of Springtime Moments, decoupaged them and matted them onto yellow pearlescent card. I then wrapped green satin ribbon round the base of this and then matted onto white card. finally I added a bow and a Happy Easter peel off.

Egg and chicks!

   This digi image which I coloured using Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy. After colouring I matted it onto black card and added the sentiment cut from the cover of an old exercise book using letters from Tattered Lace's alphabet dies.
   The background of the card was formed by matting paper from my stash onto spotty mirri  and wrapping a ribbon round it before matting onto white card.

A study in purple and green

      Friday again and another challenge at QKR Stampede with an anything goes theme.
   I matted green card onto purple and wrapped wide green satin ribbon flanked by narrow purple ribbon round the left hand side. This was the matted onto white card. I coloured the digi image called flower accent using Promarkers and matted it onto purple card. I made a double bow using the two ribbons and coloured a silver peel off to add as a sentiment.

Rain

   This is for a special little lady who loves umbrellas.
   I began my card by matting and layering pale yellow card, magenta card and spotty mirri card onto white card. From two different sheets of spotty mirri I cut umbrellas using the Tattered Lace die 'always by your side' and used them as a border on the left hand side. The image called 'Avery in rain poncho' was coloured using Promarkers, fussy cut and attached to the card. The sentiment was a peel off.

Flying in with wishes

   The theme for this fortnight's challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids is anything goes with the option of cards for boys.
   I matted dark blue card onto white card to form the base of my design. I fussy cut an image from Hunkydory's Little Book of Smudge and Mitten and placed it in a frame cut from rainbow mirri card so that the plane was flying out of the circle and then matted this onto pale blue card before attaching it to my base card. Using further copies of the same image I decoupaged it. lastly I added black peel off sentiments.

Fortieth birthday

   There is another anything goes themed challenge starting today at QKR Stampede. I could not resist this duck pushing the forty block. The digi is called 'pushing forty'.
   I matted dark grey core'dinations onto cream card and after colouring the image using Promarkers I matted it onto yellow card from the cover of an old exercise book. I added black card candi to the corners. The handwritten sentiment was cut out using a Spellbinders label eight die and matted onto card from the exercise book.

Working out

   This is an image from Oddball Art called Big Eye vegan girl working out and after colouring it using a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens I matted it onto glitter card. I coloured satin ribbon using a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and wrapped it round paper from my stash before matting and layering onto blue mirri and white card. The letters for the sentiment were cut using a Tattered Lace die and I completed the card by adding clear gems to the ribbon.

Go green

   This fortnight the Crafty Cardmakers challenge would like you to 'go green'.
   I matted white card onto green card and then onto white card. Using the Tattered Lace die blossoming butterfly I cut card in various shades of green and layered different parts onto the base dark green die cut. I added Stickles to the butterflies and Liquid Pearls to one of the flowers and to the pearls on the flourishes. The sentiment was cut using another Tattered Lace die.

Good boy

   Friday and another challenge at QKR Stampede. As usual the theme is anything goes.
   Like many people I have a vast quantity of scraps. This card makes use of some of them. I matted brown core'dinations card onto white card and then arranged scraps of spring flower patterned, green and beige papers onto this. I used the Tattered Lace woodside fence die to create the fence and the small panorama grass die to add grasses in front of this.
   The dog is the QKR Stampede digi called good boy and I coloured it using Promarkers and then fussy cut it. Finally the sentiment was cut using a die from Tattered Lace's magazine number forty.

Happy Mother's day

   This is a quick card for Mother's Day which we celebrate in the UK next Sunday. I wrapped pink satin ribbon round pink card and matted it onto white card. I cut down an image from Hunkydory's Square Little Book of flowers and matted it onto rainbow mirri card. I then added a bow, some pink gems and silver peel offs to complete the card.

Bouquet of poppies

    I matted black card onto white and outlined it with silver peel off strips. The image called BigEye girl with her dog was coloured using Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens. I added Glossy Accents to the dogs eye and the glasses. After cutting it out using a Tattered Lace decorative rectangle die I matted it onto silver glitter card. For my sentiment I matted silver waste peel off onto blue glitter card.
