Bouquet of happiness
This fortnight the theme for the challenge over at Crafty Card Markers is thankful.
I have used one of the new Holly Hobbie stamps from Crafter's Companion called a bouquet of happiness. I coloured it using Promarkers and cut it out using a Tattered Lace mini ruffle square die, colouring the ruffles using Promarkers. Using a larger die from the same set I cut a square from darker green card and positioned this at an angle under the image. The chequed design paper was printed using a My Craft Studio CD ROM. The card was finished with a little square thank you note.

Hiding
This week the theme for the QKR Stampede challenge is anything goes with the twist Halloween. I thought of the animals and decided to use the digi hiding which I coloured using Promarkers and fussy cut leaving a narrow white margin around it so that it would stand out from the dark background. This was dark textured navy paper which I matted and layered onto orange mirri and white card. I added a portion of a web cut from black card using the Tattered Lace large spider web die. To this I added dots of Stickles to look like droplets of water. The image was added last.

I have been asked to be a guest designer for Scrapbook Stamp Society (http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.co.uk) and this is what I created.
It is not often that you come across snow women and this one has a rather fancy hat! The digi is from Scrapbook Stamp Society and after colouring it using Promarkers I rounded the edges using a punch and matted it onto red card. The background paper is from the Berry Merry paper pad by Jennifer Ellory and I matted and layered it onto red followed by white card. The decoupaged die cut flowers were created using the Christmas Rose Tattered Lace die and again coloured using Promarkers.

Popcorn with balloons
For this fortnight Send A Smile 4 Kids would like to see celebration cards for their challenge. The sponsor for this challenge is Repeat Impressions who are offering a $15 gift certificate as their prize.
I have chosen to celebrate a birthday and have used a long forgotten Popcorn the Bear stamp called smile. After colouring it using Promarkers I matted it onto card using a punch to round the corners of both the image and the mat.
The design paper was printed from the accompanying CD ROM from Crafter's Companion and after matting this onto card I wrapped two vertical strips of satin ribbon round it before matting it onto white card. Again a punch was used to round all the corners.
I finished the card with a stamp of Popcorn's little duck friend, cutting this out using a Spellbinder's die and matting it onto card.

Happy birthday pumpkin
This week along with the usual anything goes theme the QKR Stampede challenge has the twist pumpkins. I decided to make a card for an autumn birthday.

The image called thinking was coloured using Promarkers then cut out using an oval die and matted onto another piece of orange card. The pumpkins used as embellishments were cut from a page from Hunkydory's Little Book of Autumn. The sentiment was a black peel off.

Contemporary snowman
The theme for this fortnight's challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids is early holiday wishes. It is being sponsored by
Dollar Graphics Depot who are offering a $15 gift certificate
and
Dies R Us who are also offering a $15 gift certificate
I have gone for contemporary colours for this Christmas card. I matted paper from Papermania onto gold mirri and then wrapped blue satin ribbon round it before matting onto white card.
The image from Dollar Graphics Depot is from their Brrr It's Cold set and I coloured it using Promarkers in the main. I used a gold gel pen for the snowflake and Stickles on the snow. After cutting it out using a Spellbinders oval die I matted it onto purple card and then attached it to the card. Using a Tattered Lace die I cut five snowflakes from gold mirri and attached these to the ribbon.

Three mirri die cut leaves completed my card.
