Swing together

Here is another one of the Cutie Patootie images from Little Claire Designs which I have coloured with Promarkers to make a card for another great niece. I was also able to make use of some left over papers that I had previously printed for other cards.

Raindrops

Raindrops

July is a busy month in my family for birthdays. I made this card for one of my great nieces.
The Morehead image brings to mind the song 'Raindrops keep falling on my head'. Both the image and the flowers were coloured using promarkers. I used a lacy oval Spellbinder die to cut out the image, mounted it onto pink mirri card and cut around the edge to produce the images boarder. The backing papers were printed from various CD ROMS.

Clean Sweep!

This stamp, coloured with Promarkers, is one of Little Claire Designs Cutie Patooties. I have used the Keepsake's Celebrations board to create the background for the image and decorated it with gem stones, CANDi and coloured peel offs.

Bundles of joy

New Baby

I am beginning to quite like the cards where colours are limited. I coloured this stamp, Bundles of Joy,  from Crafter's Companion Popcorn the Bear range using Promarkers and mounted it onto  pale!! mirri card.
I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:
Ooh La La Creations - Welcome Little One
Cupcake Crafts - CAS - Not for Flowers
Penny Black and More - CAS

Just Brown

Just Brown

Having tried to reduce the number of colours used in my previous card I thought I would set myself a challenge by limiting myself to just one colour. Here is the result using the Lili of the Valley stamp Man's Best Friend.
I would like to enter this into
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Not For Flowers.
                                   Joanna Sheen Challenge - Fathers/Men
Penny Black and More Challenge - CAS
I Love Promarkers Challenge - Anything Goes
                                   Dream Valley Challenge - Father's Day/Male

Its Never Too Early

I originally intended to use just black and red Promarkers to colour this Crafter's Companion image, but I think the green brings it to life a little more. It is mounted onto red mirri card and then onto black card. The embellishments consist of red and black feathers and flowers punched from red and black card. The centres of the smaller ones are formed out of lime green Stickles, whilst a child's craft box provided the gel centres for the two larger.

Two ducks & a frog
 or
 Not such an ugly duckling

This image, coloured with Promarkers, is one of Joanna Sheen's Giordano studio stamps. I have added 'bullrushes' made from wooden cocktail sticks, flower soft and quilling paper.

Let's explore

Another one of Lili of the Valley's cute stamps. This one is called Toot Toot!
I have chosen Promarkers to reflect the colours on the striped background. The mirri card used for the topper backing (green) and sentiments (maroon) was chosen in a like manner although this does not really show up in the picture.

Canterbury Bell

These stamps from Crafter's Companion Canterbury Bell Flower Fairy set were coloured using Promarkers. The butterflies and fairy wing were sprayed with CC's iridescent spray and the faux stitching was done with a Sakura Stardust Gelpen. The topper and sentiment were mounted onto light purple mirri card, whilst the backing paper taken from CC's Flower Fairy CD ROM was backed onto dark blue mirri card. A button was used as part of the stop for this twisted easel card.

Marigold
This stamp, from Crafter's Companion, is coloured using Promarkers and is edged with Marigold distress ink. The fairy wings have been sprayed with Crafter's Companion iredescent spray and sparkle as also has the flower rosette embellishment. The ribbon on this embellishment was coloured with orange Promarker and stitched with embroidery thread.
Both the flower fairy and the sentiment were mounted onto yellow card and then orange mirri card. The backing paper and boarder strip were from Crafter's Companion Flower Fairy CD ROM and were also mounted onto orange mirri card.

Fun in the sun

This is a stamp from Joanna Sheen's Gruffies set coloured with Promarkers to match some odd scraps of paper that I found. I used Liquid Pearls for the sun cream and everything was backed onto core'dinations card stock. I added gems and words, cut using Tattered Lace dies, to finish the card.
